As I understand it, the US Senate has to approve/ratify any treaties signed by the President. He does not have sole power over treaties.
That said, it is up to them to negate the thing.
It would also seem that just by signing it, the President would be committing an act of "high treason" and a total violation of his oath of office to defend the Constitution of the United States.
I agree with this statement completely. There is no way anything like this will EVER get through the US Senate. There is no Constitutional Authority for either the President or the Congress to in effect alter that document in such a way as to abrogate any part of it without going through the process of Amendment.
OK guys, did you ever think that are very liberal senate may want this? They think along the same lines as Obama after all!! Are days of freedom are numbered. Enjoy it!
