Very complicated and convoluted, but an interesting read.

......

It was a conspiracy of Japan and Yoko Ono.

No way to tell if there is any validity, but statements like, "Yoko Ono's father worked for a Japanese bank in the US before and after WWII. In those days, most Japanese businessmen working overseas were almost government agents", seem to confirm the conspiracy angle. But, Is this reliable information?

Pretty shaky connections in that article.
Not that I don't think there was something very fishy about the Lennon/Ono thing, but that article doesn't really give me any good evidence to go on, just a lot of speculation.

Japanese don't think that the Japanese navy attacked the harbor in Hawaii.

Because, Japanese call the attack "Shinjuwan", which literally means "Pearl Bay" in Japanese.

So, most Japanese believe that the war was waged off the coast of Hawaiian islands.

Few Japanese know that the surprise attack was carried out against the war vessels at anchor.

It is one example of an artful translation deception.

John Lennon Museum in Japan Closed

A museum dedicated to deceased Beatle John Lennon is set to close its doors after 10 years this September, the exhibition's general manager Junichi Mizusawa has announced.

The John Lennon Museum situated near Tokyo, Japan, was the first museum in the world to be officially approved by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono -- and now with the 10-year agreement not being renewed, all items on show will be returned to her.

Wikipedia explains as follows.

=====
Yoko Ono was born to mother Isoko Ono, the granddaughter of Zenjiro Yasuda of the Yasuda banking family, and to father Eisuke Ono who was a descendant of an Emperor of Japan.[1] Two weeks before she was born, her father was transferred to San Francisco. The rest of the family followed soon after. In 1937, her father was transferred back to Japan and Ono was enrolled at Tokyo's Gakushuin, one of the most exclusive schools in Japan, which, before World War II, was open only to the Japanese imperial family and aristocrats of the House of Peers.
======

But, at that time, most Japanese who worked overseas were spies of the GOVERNMENT.

They were all the more polite, christian, and sincere.

The world's only authorised John Lennon Museum, on the outskirts of Tokyo, will close its doors in September when a deal with his widow Yoko Ono ends, the operator said Thursday.

The museum dedicated to the former Beatle opened in Saitama north of Tokyo in 2000 on the 60th anniversary of Lennon's birth and displays about 130 items, including guitars, stage costumes and hand-written lyrics.

"After 10 years here, John's spirit is now moving on -- looking onward to the next journey," said Ono in a statement. "Thanks to your love for the museum, what we'd thought would be five years became 10."

The number of visitors had declined to about 30,000 a year compared to 124,000 in the first year, said Koji Uzuhashi, spokesman for construction company Taisei Corp which runs the museum.

"In total, the number of visitors reached 550,000 people as of January."

He added: "I have heard some scraps of information that there is a fresh plan to prepare a similar museum after the items are returned" to Ono.

RARE photographs of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s Bed-in for Peace in Montreal are going on display in Coventry Cathedral.

The new exhibition called Give Peace a Chance opens tomorrow and will run until May 3.

The pictures were taken by photographer Gerry Deiter in the week John and Yoko were in the Queen Elizabeth Hotel, in Montreal, campaigning for peace in 1969.

Re: John Lennon, Yoko Ono, Pearl Harbor and Manchuria
jskylark ... thanks for making this thread. being a Beatle fan, Lennon's death ( assassination ) has always been of interest to me. and I always believed there was more to the 'lone nut/obsessed fan' story, of the murderer Mark David Chapman.

there are many questions I would like to ask and discuss with you. you mentioned an interesting observation about Yoko Ono having a distinct, unique look, the features of a Ninja. I found that curious. to my understanding, Ninja is a secret society, for the elect and the elite.

also in my research on Lennon's death, I stumbled upon some 'strange' information. shortly after Yoko married John, her family took her back to Japan where she was hospitalized ( institutionalized ) supposedly for an emotional breakdown. of course, conspiracies abound, and "rumor/story" states that she was in an MK Programme and programmed to become John's handler.
and had something to do, some connection, with his death.

consequently she most benefited from his death.

I'll save this thread, and bump it when I see you on.

PS I read the links, but they were a bit confusing to figure out. true, at the time Yoko & John married there were still ill feelings between Japan and American and their marriage wasn't really accepted by either 'people'.

Well, to tell the truth, I am believing that my family is included some ninja tribe.

One of my female cousins married a extremely rich man and had a baby and soon got divorced. Her story is very similar to that of Yoko Ono.

In addition to that, one of mu uncles was a secret man. For many years, nobody knew where he was.

Recently, he died. And we were surprise. We found his name in the kist of Wikipedia.

He had quite a few children overseas. His life is a typical one for Japanese government agents.

Let me talk about such stories, later.

I found this the other day when researching the new volcano in Iceland...

seems Yoko has erected some kind of "light tower" called the Imagine Peace Tower that is in Reykjavík, right by the new fissure, as it turns out.

Now ain't that ironic???

The DAY of the Pearl Harbor Attack

[link to book.geocities.jp]

The day of attack, December 8 (Japan Time), was chosen as a pun on August 12.

On August 12, 1898, the flag of the Kingdom of Hawaii over Iolani Palace was lowered to raise the United States flag to signify annexation.

Unfortunately, the president was later assassinated.

Japan created another pun on August 12 in 1985.

Victory over Japan Day

The leader of the Japanese Red Army, Fusako Shigenobu, was born on September 3, 1945.

On that day, on September 2, 1945 (US time), the Allies of World War II celebrated the surrender of Japan.

In fact, the Japanese Red Army symbolizes Japan's revenge and conspiracy against Allied Nations.

December 7 was a very memorable day for Japan.

Townsend Harris, the first United States Consul General to Japan, had an audience with the Japanese shogun for the first time on December 7, 1857.

At that time, the Japanese samurai government was happy with the occasion.

They believed that Japan surpassed the US.

And in 1941, the Japanese government demanded the surrender of the US government again.

That was the Pearl Harbor Attack.

ya sure right if you say so.....................NOT

John got wasted after he started writing and singing songs about the baby burning under the OWL at the GROVE. His shooter Chapman was CIA trained at the School of the Americas, and was working for the Hinkley Family's World Vision missonary front. The Hinckleys[mother was a Vanderbilt]owed the Bush's bigtime for bailing out their oil company in the 60's. Not, only did they supply a patsy kid in the attempted Reagan hit, they also supplied a shooter in their employ to take out John Lennon.
