Sure, a Class C is tiny but considering the earth's magatic field is getting worse every single year and now there is a hole in it 10 times larger than NASA originally thought, a class C might be more powerful than we used to think. Who knows.

The above shows there was NO C Class Flare involved with this event and it also shows that background x-ray flux never even got above the A0.0 level

You people are fucking idiots, seriously, how many CME's did we have during the maximum? Hundreds, if not thousands, and most of them were bigger then this little burp. Where was all the doom when CME's as big as the sun were popping off? Another topic that shows people's ignorance and lack of knowledge about a subject will always draw, fear, hysteria and stupidity. Sure Earth directed are not as common, but still, we're in the deepest minimum for over 200 years now and you're worried about a little plasma?! |

Has anybody else been tracking the 10 meter asteroid that is posted on Spaceweather that is supposed to "miss" the earth by 1 lunar distance today? No?
Wonder what is happening with this near miss asteroid...can't really tell since NASA has now classified their data. |
