The people that trade gold thought it would not break 1.50...It looked like they were shorting gold big time until it broke 1.50 .... Gold was down over $6 ... When it broke 1.50 it jumped $8 to up over $2 ..... Just watching and learning.... .

Let me see, so first you make sure you manufacture a lot in the USA, hold a strong dollar, export much of your products and make the importing consumer pay for the expensive valuta rate. Then you transfer most of your product lines out of the US, so you have to import your own goods, downgrade the dollar and make the US consumer pay extra for the imported stuff Clever economists.

There was another thread where they saying it wouldn't but it just did and oil hovering at almost 80 bucks. And Cnbc was hosting a guy named Rodriguez and another segment about going back to the Gold standard. Interesting indeed.

I am no economic wizard but at the current rate things are going, just looking at it from outside the fish bowl. It really does not seem to look good and right now...HOLD the index is at 75.10, OIL just went to 80 and and the euro is back at 1.50...??
