I got similar forms sent home from school about a week ago, except for the nasal spray. Right on the forms it states that the virus is live and that you understand you have no recourse. I too scanned and saved them, but I haven't gotten around to uploading them yet. |

The MMR/Autism Controversy: Should We Believe the IOM?
You have seen the headlines:
* Panel Finds No Link Between Childhood Vaccines, Autism (New York Times)
* No Links Found Between Childhood Vaccine, Autism (Los Angeles Times)
* US Expert Group Rejects Link Between MMR and Autism (The Lancet)
Is it true? Has the autism/MMR link been scientifically disproved? Absolutely not!
The above headlines refer to a report published by the heretofore respected Institute of Medicine (IOM), a branch of the National Academy of Sciences. You may be thinking: If a prestigious independent group such as the IOM rejects the autism/MMR connection, there must be good reason for doing so. Why shouldn’t I accept that verdict?
You shouldn’t accept the verdict for several reasons. One is that the headlines are wrong-the IOM did not reject the hypothesis that the MMR is a possible cause of autism. The headlines were based on a press release written by individuals with suspected links to the vaccine manufacturers, and did not accurately reflect the actual statement by the IOM itself.
Representative Dan Burton, who has conducted intensive investigations of the evidence linking vaccines to autism, and had insisted on excluding from the IOM panel those with a conflict of interest, was furious when he found that individuals with ties to the vaccine manufacturers had distorted the position of the IOM report to make it appear to wholly reject the autism/MMR link. He noted that two of those who issued the press release appeared to have ties with the vaccine manufacturers, and he has vowed to determine the extent of their conflict of interest. Burton’s very normal grandson became autistic soon after receiving in one day multiple vaccines containing 40 times the acceptable level of mercury.
The IOM report actually said: “Although the committee has concluded that the evidence favors rejection of the causal relationship at the population level between MMR vaccine and ASD, the committee recommends that this issue receive continued attention.... its conclusion does not exclude the possibility that MMR vaccine could contribute to ASD in a small number of children...”
This is an exceedingly weak statement, considering the evidence at hand (see below), but it certainly does not reject a causal link. (And what does “at the population level” mean?) Autism currently occurs in about one child in 130, far above the 1-in-2500 figure reported in the 1970s and 1980s, before the MMR triple vaccine was introduced. And 1 in 130 is quite consistent with what both the IOM and the vaccine critics claim: “MMR may cause autism in a small number of children.” The IOM statement thus supports, not refutes, what the MMR critics contend. Despite the headlines, the safety of the MMR is clearly not assured. The media have been duped by the medical establishment’s spinmeisters, with the intentional complicity of the IOM.
It is the medical establishment’s burden to have proven that the vaccines are safe, not the critics’ burden to prove them unsafe. Safety testing should have been done 20 years ago, when the MMR triple vaccine replaced the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccines which were given separately, over a period of time, and when the number of vaccines was 8 rather than 22. As we pointed out in ARRI 15/1, the UK expert panel charged with evaluating the safety of the MMR said, “Being extremely generous, evidence on the safety [of the MMR] was very thin,” “The granting of a product license was definitely premature,” and, “In almost every case observation periods were too short to include the time of onset of late neurological or other adverse events. Interaction between vaccines had not been considered adequately with multiple vaccinations and potentially ill-equipped immune systems.”
A spokesperson for the Journal of Adverse Drug Reactions, in which the above statements appeared, stated, “All the reviewers conclude that something needs to be done about the MMR, and that there is a case to answer against the vaccine.”
The fact that the IOM report was misrepresented by the drug industry’s spinmeisters does not exonerate the IOM from having shirked its responsibility to report that:
1. The MMR had not undergone adequate safety testing.
2. The practice of injecting increasingly large numbers of vaccines-many containing large amounts of mercury and other toxins-into the bloodstreams of immature infants was never evaluated for safety.
3. The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) is a travesty; fewer than 10 percent of side effects are ever reported.
4. Thousands of U.S. and U.K. families say-and can demonstrate with videotapes and photos-that their children were normal prior to being vaccinated, reacted badly to the vaccines, and became autistic shortly after.
5. A number of clinical laboratory studies demonstrate that vaccines may cause chronic damage to the G. I. tract, immune system, brain, and other organs. Several such studies have been reported in past issues of the ARRI. Wakefield, Sabra, Singh, O’Leary and Kawashima are among the authors whose work documents lingering vaccine effects on children on the autistic spectrum, compared to normal controls.
The IOM report pays little heed to this evidence, instead focusing attention on several deeply flawed epidemiological studies. None of the laboratory studies were mentioned in the popular press reports.
Why did the IOM stoop to issuing such a devious, misleading report, thereby incurring a permanent blot on its credibility? The IOM is an instrument of mainstream medicine, and mainstream medicine has an enormous stake in the public belief that vaccines are safe. During the past decade, mainstream medicine has suffered a hemorrhage of patients who have been flocking to practitioners of alternative medicine. Too often have prescription drugs been found more dangerous than the illness. When the link between the use of unsafe, mercury-laden vaccine and autism, ADHD, asthma, allergies and diabetes becomes undeniable, mainstream medicine will be sporting a huge, self-inflicted and well-deserved black eye.
Then will come the billion-dollar awards, by enraged juries, to the children and their families. I can’t wait.
Be that as it may, the parents of today are confronted with the question: “What do we do about vaccinations?” Even as I write these words, the California legislature is conducting hearings to decide if two more vaccines, Hepatitis A and Prevnar, will be required before children can be admitted to day care or kindergarten. Parents of vaccine-injured children are opposing these measures. When will it end? Profit, not public health, is the goal of many who advocate the use of all of these unnecessary vaccines.
Alternative medicine provides a much more rational approach to preventing disease-including the diseases that are a direct result of vaccines-bolstering the immune system. Even during the most horrific epidemics-the bubonic plague, smallpox, polio, and AIDS-most humans escape death, despite exposure to the pathogen. Why? Obviously, because their immune systems were competent to defend the body. That is the immune system’s job. Can we enhance the immune system’s capacity to defend us? Of course! Rely on nutrients, not drugs.
As we have pointed out previously (ARRI 12/1), providing the immune system with the nutrients it needs by means of a high quality multiple vitamin/mineral supplement, with extra amounts of vitamins C, A and E, as well as extra selenium and zinc, can make a big difference in your-and your child’s-vulnerability to pathogenic viruses, bacteria and yeasts. Such fortification of the immune system is especially important in the weeks preceding and following vaccinations. I'd like to know the answer as well...I've not seen any legislation that severely limits our rights to recourse, but I do know it's in the works.
Maybe it has to do with the "tort" reform I read something about...like instead of courts, it's a group of expert panels that will review cases, and there will be set amounts based on a certain issue, IF your case gets approved at all.
We all want tort reform, but are we going to like the reform they'll put into place? That remains to be seen...

First: I work in the Public Schools, and YES this propaganda is being sent home. 2nd: Not all public school staff support this. There are many within my county who have said that they will not ENDORSE the vaccine for any reason. I am one of those. 3rd: Whatever you do...do NOT let your child receive the nasal mist... And lastly, MANY schools are being closed when students are SUSPECTED of having H1N1. We need to fight the fear factor. |

The Public Employees Federation, New York State United Teachers and an attorney representing 4 Albany, NY nurses challenged the NY State order mandating vaccination with all ACIP recommended vaccinations, including seasonal and Swine (H1N1) vaccines for nurses, doctors, aides and non-medical staff members who might be in a patient's room. For now, the vaccinations will remain voluntary.
Natural Solutions Foundation's 'Stop the Shot' litigation also deals with the rights of NY State Health Care Workers, in addition to challenging the legality of the vaccines themselves. The litigation has been filed in the District of Columbia Federal District Court in order to create a stay which has national impact. Additional states, such as Pennsylvania and California, have promulgated mandates similar to those in New York.
The Natural Solutions Foundation's Trustee and lead Counsel, Ralph Fucetola, JD, has been asked to provide an Amicus Curiae ["Friend of the Court" brief - REL] in this case because of our extensive research and involvement with the issues in this case and we are, of course, proud to do so.
Distressingly, ACIP has been discounting or eliminating exemption categories in its recommendations for vaccinations which means that such exemptions, although allowed under the laws of all states for medical reasons and 48 states for other reasons, are increasingly not permitted for ordinary vaccinations and are disallowed for pandemic vaccinations. This is not acceptable to people who believe that, as free men and women, they have the right to make their own decisions about what goes into their bodies.

Our Federal Court Complaint filed as Docket No. 1:09-cv-01924 on October 9th has moved to its next stage: our DC lawyers have filed a Motion for an Injunction to STOP THE SHOT!

The underlying Complaint alleges that the government failed to follow its own rules and applicable legislation in rushing the vaccine approvals in the absence of any of the requisite minimum scientifically sound and appropriate testing for both safety and effectiveness as required by law since 1964.
The new Motion asks the Court to act immediately to stop the swine flu shots.
The government, which owns all the approved vaccines, has begun delivery this week of what they describe as the novel "Swine Flu" 2009-H1N1-A live virus nasal mist vaccine to 90,000 government-approved locations nationwide. Before the Court will have time to act, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of Americans will take the nasal mist vaccine and, according to the nongovernmental physicians and scientists who oppose these vaccines, will become infectious, possibly triggering the pandemic the government has been predicting. The company which makes this mist vaccine states on their web site that their vaccine causes a "mild" case of the flu alleged to provide immunity to the admittedly mild "swine flu" which has so far failed to become pandemic.
Frankly. we do not know if we will be in time to prevent the pandemic.
The case of Null, Laibow et al. v FDA et al. challenges the legality of the September 15th, 2009 licensing of four vaccines prior to any safety testing for what the government calls a "novel flu virus with pandemic potential." Although the government states that none of the vaccines contain adjuvants, that is manifestly untrue since the injected vaccines contain aluminum, a toxic adjuvant, and Novartis told the Natural Solutions Foundation on that same day that their approved vaccine contains MF59, their proprietary squalene adjuvant. The purpose of an adjuvant is to irritate the immune system into greater production of antibodies than it would otherwise create in response to a smaller antigen dose. Antigens are the most costly part of a vaccine to manufacture. Therefore, despite the enormous dangers, vaccine manufacturers are eager to use adjuvants.
Adjuvants like squalene (also known as MF59, ASO 1, 2, 3 and 4) are highly toxic unapproved drugs in the US. The Novartis (approved) Swine Flu and GSK (awaiting approval) vaccines contain 1 million times more oil in water adjuvant (read, "squalene") than the devastatingly dangerous Vaccine A which caused the profound illness and death of so many previously healthy service men and women.
After you read the Complaint and the Brief and some documentation on the dangers of Squalene and similar adjuvants, it's time to talk about what you can - what we believe we all must - do before the last second of the last minute of the now-past 11th hour has vanished and, with it, our ability to own and control the fate of our own bodies.

Our collective efforts are the only bulwark we have against this madness. Alone we are literally powerless. Together, we have created the push back that has taken us from "All vaccines will be mandatory for the Swine Flu" to "All vaccines will be voluntary for the Swine Flu BUT....." There is a great deal more we need to do and we are fast running out of time to do it.
We cannot guarantee that we will be successful if we all do all of these things. But we most certainly can guarantee that the result of failing to do our absolute utmost during a time of utmost emergency will result in cataclysmic results.

3. You and your circle of influence, which means EVERY SINGLE PERSON you can reach, need to tell your State and Federal legislators in no uncertain terms that you demand the right to choose, without penalty, whether you get vaccines or not for yourself and your children.

Then print out and take this talking point paper, , with you when you go to visit your State and Federal legislators either in their capital offices, or in their district offices. Call them up. Set up an appointment with the elected official or, failing that, with his/her Chief of Staff (NOT the phone answering underling!), present the legislator or CoS with a copy of your talking points and then talk.
Go in a group, and insist on making every one of your points clearly, briefly and with the full attention of the legislator. If they try to brush you off, remind them that they, every last one of them, are your employees and you, as the boss, want a moment more of their time so that they know what their instructions are. Be courteous, do not raise your voice, be logical and be forceful.
They know that a single angry voter is enough to knock an incumbent out of the primary round of elections and that is your power!

The headlines in this issue of the Health Freedom Action e Alert make it clear that Push Back is certainly working. Americans are not going to take it any more. Even most healthcare workers, including doctors, refuse to take voluntary vaccines and huge numbers of them are up in arms over the mandates which they are being faced with to either take the vaccines or lose their jobs! These are the folks in the know: they routinely do not take vaccines (less than 40% of the same pediatricians who harangue you to get your kids vaccinated follow the guidelines for their own vaccinations - they do not take them!) Less than 1/3 of all UK health care professionals will take the H1N1 shot. Australian doctors do not want to take it.
Less than 40% of parents in the US want their children vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccines!
The FDA and CDC folks are now engaged in a major public relations push to counter what they call myths, and what we call facts:
The H1N1 vaccine is untested, unsafe, unnecessary, uninsurable and unscientific. If you want it, fine. If not, it should be your right, under all circumstances, to refuse the vaccine without coercion or penalty. That's what our lawsuit is about.

The same authorities who have warned us about the potential for pandemic for months now begin to change their tune, since it's clear we don't buy their obscurations and since we have (and we are!) independent sources of news, on the Internet, over Radio and the like, where people have learned not to trust authority.
"The World Health Organization, the UN agency (ir-) responsible for declaring a Phase 6 "PANDEMIC" global alert over what it calls H1N1 Influenza A or Swine Flu, whose chief Dr Margaret Chan has repeatedly warned that while Swine Flu to date had been rather mild, that the emergency declaration was necessary because it "could mutate" aggressively into a deadly pandemic killing millions, now admits well into the flu season in the Northern Hemisphere that H1N1 has apparently not mutated."

So New York's "emergency" flu vaccine mandates, and California's and Pennsylvania's and every other State's, to say nothing of the absurd US Health Emergency declared just 11 days after the Swine Flu supposedly arose for the first time ever in Mexico, are based on no emergency at all. The Emperor has no clothes on and has no flu. When you have instructions like those in Mississippi's emergency rooms that ALL respiratory illnesses are to be classified as Swine Flu and that there is not one laboratory in the entire state which can perform the lab tests (which are shockingly inaccurate) you know that you have a very naked Emperor, indeed!
It is important to remember that the HHS's April 25th declaration of "emergency" with its language exculpating all government officials from the harm that may occur is based on no emergency; the imminent Emergency Use Authorization that FDA will use to permit the use of "adjuvants" (immune system toxins) that have never been permitted in drugs in the United States, because the government's own scientists will not sign off on them, will be based on no emergency.

LoL! That's the part my son (9) came to me about. "Dad, whats this mean" I told him and he said he didn't want the shot then. It wasn't an easy decision for my wife and I to make. I don't trust the government, I don't trust big pharma. This doesn't mean the vaccine is bad, but the no liability clause definitely means that they don't know if it is any good. Hell, at least I know what the flu is. |
