GLP Calendar Idea, MOD's please read!
Quote

GLP:
I've been coming to this site for around a year now and I have seen a lot of predictions of doom and gloom and have a question. Is there any way to make a calendar that will mark the date, predicted event, and who predicted it so we can wait and see if the prediction comes true? What goes on the calendar would be entirely up to the MOD's to prevent a deluge of unfounded predictions bogging the calendar down. Just a thought, what does everyone think?

For me, it's not so much that I think all the predictions are BS... it's more that I want them all in a central location for easy and quick one-stop-shopping for doomage.

From time to time I skim the various threads looking for predictions/warnings and I write them down on my calendar. It would be nice if someone did this for all to view in one central location.

That sounds like a lot of work,if we wanted to work we wouldn't be here. I volunteer you for the task.
You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation.

You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

LOL. Whenever my employees come up with ideas for improving or changing something around here, they suddenly find themselves the head of the committee. It puts an end to it pretty quick.

Hah I bet. I admittedly don't have the skills to make something like that and implement it, that's why I mentioned it would be a lot of work for the mod's.

We had a doom calendar for a long time. People used it at first, but eventually it was just sort of forgotten and ignored.
To visualize the coming apocalypse, imagine, if you will, Oprah & Rosie O'Donnell wrestling for the last rib at an all-you can-eat Bar-B-Q...
