The trangression (sin) causing desolation has a lot to do with the New Covenant and .......... Holy Spirit.
After all Jesus Christ said he would forgive our sins and so what is the transgression guaranteed to cause desolation.

The Desolation Prophecy is misunderstood by the World to regard either the Anti-Christ or people in-general. The transgression causing desolation concerns God's Church, which is why the World has been oblivious to the notion that this desolation has already occured. This is called the "Abomination Of Desolation" because this is an abomination which causes the desolation of God's Church. Once the man known as Joseph Tkach, Senior gave a sermon to God's Church in Atlanta, Georgia on December 17th, 1994, the Church incredibly rapidly declined in it'z contributions as well as it'z memberships. This was the prophecied "apostasy" of God's Church.
2nd Thessalonians 2 says that God will reveal this "Man Of Sin" in his own time, and will consume this man with the breath of His mouth. Well, Joseph Tkach, Sr. died precisely 40 Sabbaths (280 Days) later to the very hour that he gave that sermon in Atlanta, a sermon which told God's Church that they no longer need to follow many of their long-helf beliefs and the Laws Of God, and this totally shattered and scattered the Church. God has used the number 40 for his judgements, such as the flooding for 40 Days & 40 Nights, 40 Years in the wilderness, etc. This scattering of God's Church is what the "falling away" is all about, the falling away from the truth. He gave the sermon on a Sabbath, and he died on a Sabbath during the very hour of which he gave that sermon which caused the desolation of God's Church. This was indeed the sign revealing the Man Of Sin to God's Church, although this was not realized immediately.
After this apostasy, God began calling-back the prophesied remnant, a tithe (10%) of a third (1/3) of God's Church which was scattered by the apostasy. God protected His Church for 1,260 Days from between Saturday, December 17th, 1994 - Saturday, May 30th, 1998. This means that God's Church was re-established on Pentecost in 1998, precisely 1,260 Days following the sermon which caused the Church's apostasy.
God has revealed to His Church that this act of the Man Of Sin giving that sermon was the opening of the 1st Seal Of Revelation, and the following 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Seals were all regarding God's Church, and not the World, which is why the World has been oblivious to this process and why most are gonna be assuming that we are in the 1st Seal once the Great Tribulation period begins, and/or that this period will be lasting for 7 years, but Satan has been twisting and perverting the Bible's Words through Satan's influencing the mindz of mankind. If the World were allowed 7 Years for this most intense period of human-history, we would barely last more than the prophesied 3.5 Years before we would have totally annihilated ourselves, and God prevents this from happening at the very end of this age of man's self-rule, the very day on which Jesus Christ will be returning to this God's great Earth. We have been in the final 3.5 Years ever since the 1st Trumpet was blown on Sunday, December 14th, 2008. Most people assume that there would be great physical destruction immediately from that very first day, but the Bible never says that this will occur immediately, because it is a process, and it is mankind doing this stuff to Himself, it'z not God doing it, but God is indeed allowing it to happen, because thingz would have happened a much longer time ago had God not been holding this timing back.
The most recent revelation to God's Church was regarding the meaning of God's "time" (as in time, times, and half-a-time). The 1,260 Days was long believed to be the time, times, and half-a-time. However, God revealed to His Church that a "time" is 280 Days (40 x 7-Day Week), which meant that "times" is 560 Days, and half-a-time is 140 Days. The "time" portion seems to occur first (just like with Joseph Tkach and him being revealed as the Man Of Sin by God taking His life 280 Days following his treacherous sermon). From December 14th, 2008 (1st Trumpet blown) going forward 280 days, bringz us to the Feast Of Trumpets, September 19th, 2009. This was God's judgement-period whereby the tribulation could not begin just yet. We have seen some of the results of the 1st Trumpet blast, from the economic implosion that we are experiencing, and the Stock-Markets and the leaders of our governments are saying that the recession is essentially over and done with, but the ordinary people know that this is not true, and another part of this 1st Trumpet is a huge false sense of hope and good-changes, which will further serve to further humble-down mankind when everything gets stripped away from his clutches.
Yes, this does mean that God's Church knowz that Jesus Christ will be returning to this Earth on Pentecost, May 27th, 2012. Most people will be flooding their comments about "no man knowing the day or the hour", but they do not see what Jesus was very clearly saying in those Scriptures. He was telling His disciples to look at the temple, and told to them that there will come a time when none of the stones of the temple will be left standing one upon another because they will all be cast down [this was actually describing God's spiritual-temple which is the Body Of Christ, God's Church (which was cast-down and spewed or vomitted from out of God's mouth because they had all fallen asleep and had become luke-warm in their spirits), and not the physical-temple which most of the World today is expecting to be built before the end can come.] The disciples then asked Jesus Christ when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming. Jesus responded that of these things, no man knows the day or the hour, not even the angels in Heaven, and not even the Son Of Man. He said (during that time) that nobody knows, and it was indeed true that nobody knew back at that time, but Jesus never ever said that nobody WILL EVER know or CAN EVER know. If Jesus Christ didn't even know the timing, and also would never ever know in the future either, then how would he ever know when to open the 7 Seals of Revelation if he had no knowledge of the timing of it all ? Human-beings take this one single verse and severely limit God in his powers of revelation (revealing) by not understanding what the verse really actually indeed says.
The Bible also says that God surely does nothing unless He first reveals His works to His servants the prophets. God says that he always reveals His works to His prophets before He does commences and executes those works. First, God reveals to His Son Jesus Christ, then Jesus Christ reveals to God's prophet, then God's prophet reveals to God's Church, and then this is revealed to anybody whom has ears to listen and wants to have greater understanding of God's purpose and plan for mankind.
Now, obviously we must be very cautious and careful of the many false-prophets whom are out here in the World, you just have to examine thingz and see what fits, but if we just blindly denounce anybody that claims to be a prophet, then we will eventually be inadvertently denouncing God's prophet, so we need to be cautious but not so overly cautious that we remain skeptical to anything and everything which is presented to us.
God's prophet has been ridiculed and mocked because he gave a certain time-frame for things to occur in, and they didn't occur in the exact timing given, but this was not the fault God's prophet, because God knew what His prophet would do with the knowledge that he thought was true (that the return of Jesus Christ would be on the Feast Of Trumpets) because God had not given His truth regarding the actual timing for the return of Jesus Christ on Pentecost (the very day that symbolizes God's first-fruits in God's Kingdom (the 144,000 whom get resurrected on the very same day on which Jesus Christ returns to this Earth in all His glory).
People have been taking this to mean that he must be a false-prophet, although he admitted that he injected his own understanding into the timing of events, because God doesn't just tell you anything and everything directly, he opens-up your mind and showz you various things where you can know, realize, and understand what He is trying to be showing you. Since God had not yet given His prophet anything regarding the truth of the timing of the return of Jesus Christ, he was believing what the Church had believed for so very long, which was the only reason why he gave the dates and time-frames that he did.
God has great purpose by in not revealing all of his truths all at once before the timing is just right, because there is a spiritual-realm out there, an angelic-realm that has been waging wars with each other more and more as the time draws closer to the very end of this age of man's self-rule. If God revealed everything to His Church all at once, then Satan would have the upper-hand and would be able to destroy many more mindz in the process, but God knowz how to not allow this by not revealing everything until it is in His purpose and timing for doing so, as God never does anything without purpose being involved in it.
Further revelation was that the Feast Of Trumpets was for the "announcing" of the return of Jesus Christ, also announcing the final count-down for the end of Satan's reign on Earth, and also announcing the final sealing of God's 144,000 first-fruits, whom do not get raptured-away through a mysterious cosmic-escape, they have to live throughout the tribulation-period also just like everybody else in the World, and it doesn't matter if they die or not, because they are guaranteed to be resurrected at the end of the Tribulation-period should they die in the process of this. Satan has so twisted and perverted the understanding of the Bible speaking of escaping the trials, which will happen when God gives favour to His people during the tribulation-period, as well as giving favour to the people whom are beginning to see His truths and trying to walk in His light.
I have said so much more here than I originally thought that I would be putting here in response, lol, but anything else that anybody might be wondering about, please don't hesitate to ask me anything that your heart desires. I don't necessarily have all of the answers, but I can try answering them the very best that I can.

Who is the Messenger that was sent from God to help Israel, do you know who they are?
In the Aramaic version of the text it states "I have stirred up one from the north, and he shall come from the rising of the sun, and shall call on my name: and the princes shall come, and shall be trodden down like mortar, and as the potter treads clay. Who has declared it from the beginning, that we may know? And beforetime, that we may say, He is righteous? What did God decide after the missions to Israel ? This is what the scripture says about Israel.

Now our LORD God, speaks to his Messenger.
"Thus says the LORD God, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread forth the earth and all that is in it, he who gives breath to the people upon it, and spirit to those who walk therein: I the LORD have called you in righteousness and have held your hand and have strengthened you and have give you for a covenant to the people and for a light to the Gentiles; That you may open the eyes of the blind, to release prisoners from bondage, and bring out of the prison house those that sit in darkness. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory I will not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things do I declare; before they spring forth I will tell you of them.
Let them give Glory to the LORD and sing his praise."

Now what will you say to the preachers that did not foretell it? What will you say to all the mediums, psychics and so-called channelers that told you nothing of the Messenger of God that would come to shorten these last days for the sake of the spiritually elect?
Will you call them out?
The Sons of light have eleven more months to get with the divine plan and the Messenger of God. Time is running out for Israel and the rest of the world.
Whoever blesses the one sent in the name of the LORD God of Israel will be truly blessed.

A day is equal to a year in prophecy op, you can't pick and choose where, it's consistant throughout. Yes it has already happened and most are blind to it, playing into the manufactured antichrist scenario, but it happened alot longer ago than what you are saying. |
