You need a torrent client such as utorrent which should reassemble the pieces back into one file.
I also had to alter the settings in windows media player to tell it to play avi files if I remember correctly.

I treid to click on the file, but it would not open. I am so fustrated! It saved it as a torrent file, but then when I click on the file, it opens the utorrent program. Should I right click and try to open with another program? Thanks!

[link to www.disc-tools.com]

You can use this software to mount the iso file in a virtual drive and view without having to burn to disc.

Use this software to burn image files such as .img,.iso and others.

Let me know if you need any help, I can walk you through the process if you need it.

You need somethink like power iso, that will do you fine. Next time you download a movie to trial run to see if you want to buy it? make sure it is avi or wmv, most are avi/divx/xvid and with the correct cdecs installed windows media player will play them. Get yourself K-Lite Codec Pack. Every comp should have this installed.

Google is always your best friend for answers. Google how to play an iso video file. All your answers are answered with google.

Re: Need Computer HelpQuote

*.iso files are a direct copy of something. Usually, as with Microsoft, you can burn it to DVD or CD copy disk so you have a copy of whatever it is that you downloaded. Then you, I think, in the case of Microsoft with their files sometimes that you can download, run it from the disk. Other ways, like with AVI files (which Windows Media player will play right off the bat), or *.WMV files that are similiar to *.mpg, or *.mpeg files which are all media files, you need a program that can read the data (like in the *.iso file) and view it or use it to have you use it on your computer.

Anyway, google is your place to find out such information, and also to know what different files are for, and the different "Codecs" that allow the information to be transferred into meaningful data for you whatever the compression (along with uncompressing the data) used in the file.

Otherwise a lot of files would be so large that you tie up servers that hold the data a lot longer.

Compressing a file is the norm rather than keeping it as it first was recorded.

Movies are enormously large and before DVD's that hold more data on the DVD unlike CD's which do not hold as much data, impossible to do anything with.

Re: Need Computer HelpQuote

Well, after all of that previous, I should look it up.

[link to answers.yahoo.com]

An *.iso image file is a file made to actually put on a CD or DVD to hold an accurate image file of the original file.

Then at the link you can see that you need a third party program to transfer it from the CD to something that a media program to use to view it.
(in this case)

in the case of Direct X SDK or anything like that from Microsoft, it is a file that mainly is put to a readable CD or DVD to retain a copy of it directly of the file downloaded.
