I smoke weed all the time. I'm smoking some right now. People say it makes you forget stuff and......wait, what?

The other night, I got so stoned I crashed my car.

I went to the reefer bar. Did six bonghits, then I got in a fight with some dude over nothing.

My neighbor got so stoned he beat up his wife.

I guess you can get a little paranoid while high, but I dont know that's always the best description of the feeling.

The Ego's job it to tell us how nice and good we are. Or rather it presents to us the type of person we'd like to be. Kind of the self preserver part of our personality.

The weed, seems to lessen the predominance of the Ego in our consciousness. That situation can force a person to confront the darker aspects of their personality. That confrontation is over all healthy but can be frightening.

The second thing weed does by forcing the ego down a notch is it removes some of the data filtering that the ego normally does. This causes seemingly strange thoughts, and realizations to stream into consciousness. This can be unsettling.

Both of these things are good, though they can be scary experiences. I believe the benefit is perhaps several weeks worth of mental, and personality growth can occur each time you are under the influence.

Sorry for rambling. Been meaning to put that into writing for some time now.

I think a ton when I'm normal, but not necessarily focused on crazy stuff. Weed tended to get me to freak out so I just stopped.

I have to agree with the paranoid crowd. I smoked weed for years and it always made me laugh and feel good.It was great. When you smoke with a group of people there is always that one person who is paranoid and is really not all that fun to be around. One day I realized that I was becoming that person so I stopped smoking. After a couple years I said to hell with it and smoked again.By the end of the day I was sure that I was going to be drafted and sent to North Korea. I am a rational person and I really thought I would be off to war in a couple weeks. But the sad truth is I really do love weed.Thats my story

When I was in high school, I smoked daily. I was always high and had a great time laughing it up and listening to Sid Vicious - must have been the deep, meaningful lyrics.

Around the age of twenty, I began to have some ... difficult experiences. I started to hear and understand every conversation going on around me. I could see the ugliness in my "friends" - and myself. I became acutely aware of things like the tone of a voice and the intentions behind it. I was faced with things I was not ready to deal with and my mind was moving too fast. I had to stop using. I guess you could call it paranoia.

Some people just can't handle it. There is too much information and they need to live and learn at a pace that works for them.

I had a bad childhood and it makes me paranoid.

That's what happened to me as well. I was able to read all the ugliness and motives behind peoples actions. It's like I could read their minds. The problem was that all the people I was spending time with were very dark and selfcentered. It's a really eyeopening experience.

BUT! Seriously. I get paranoid too. It's not a bad paranoia, it's just that when I'm high on weed, my mind is open to new things, new ways of seeing things that I would never have thought of. My mind is altered, and I'm able to literally read body languages, anticipate things almost before they happen as I have thousands of ideas/pictures/thoughts just racing in my head at tops speed. All in all, weed for me is like my third eye opening. The things that were always at the back of my head that I suppressed are in the open for me to see, and I no longer shy away from it!

Weed will eventually make you very physcotic and go crazy. All people who do it will EVENTUALLY get to that point i promise you. Also it can cause severe axiety and depression and fuck your brain up. Yes i smoked until i started to literally go insane and have never been the same since. I went to a psyciatric hospital and got on meds and found god and thats the only way i've found peace in my mind. It made me drop out of high school cause of the paranoia and severe crazyness. It will get ya i can promise you that muah muh muh muhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Weed makes you ask questions. Weed makes people paranoid because it expands their field of version to the bigger picture. Some people cant handle it.

Marijuana tends to amplify emotions. If you are a naturally anxious person it will make you more so.

The fact that it's illegal. Those days are behind me but when I used to roll like that .. my experience was that paranoid people were simply afraid of getting busted.
