That gives you a high similar to an overdose of caffeine. The same happens to me and many other people. Also, try vaporizing it instead of smoking, it takes the edgy side of the high. Vaporizing + soft indica = very relaxed, good mood high/stone. |

You couldn't be more wrong. |

Have not touched it since. Sad part is, I used to love it but now there is NO WAY I could even think of smokin' that stuff... Why does it make you paranoid? I smoke herbs (weed) and I also smoke cigarettes sometimes the herbs first and then a cigarette some 30 minutes later. I am not paranoid, in fact I am a well adjusted individual, I use to drink, not any more and on the few occasions I had a little more than I could handle, I was at most kool, no fights no overly aggressive behavior. But herbs gives more peace of mind than any type of alcohol. I guess its like the expression when people drink they chat a lot and show their true personality, same with herbs, what is inside the heart of man will manifest. I smoke herbs to meditate, when I am writing or creating and of course when making love to my woman. +1 |

| jjo User ID: 978355 05/22/2010 02:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have nothing against smoking pot, in fact up untill a few months ago, after I would get home from work, it would help me relax, and sleep really well. Latley When I smoke a few hits of the pipe I am getting extremely paranoid. I feel fine before, but after I feel guilty for the things I have said and done throughout the day, weird, I can't stop with the thoughts, irrational stupid thoughts. Makes me feel like I am gonna have a panic attack. Why is this happening. I know I need to quit, but now I will have to take sleeping pills to sleep. Does anyone know why really why this happens to some people, I think it may be a mental disorder, or is that just the paranoia? I know I sound crazy but I really would like to know what the hell is going on, probably should see someone about it, I am serious. |

Then slowly over time I felt myself getting "weirded out". Kinda fucked with my stomach also, got indigestion, (besides the munchies). So I just gave it up. After 20 years, tried it again awhile ago . . . YEP, same thing. I'll stick with my vicodin thank you. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20215lol you just graduated to another drug. But ive seen worse than me. I know a guy who smokes all the time and his paranoia has gotten worse but he still smokes. I gave him my old computer and he was convinced i deliberately messed it up so he couldnt use it. Even though it was perfectly fine for the longest time. All it needed was a reformat and the idiot threw it in the garbage, some gratitude. Also i lived above him and he was telling people i was planning on shooting him through the floor while he was laying in bed. |

"listen" to how your body responds to all substances in order to be happy and healthy. don't be afraid to try life for a little while without marijuana. |

I happen to have very low blood sugar, and pot lowers your blood sugar, so my theory is that my blood sugar goes so low, that I can't function or think properly. The same lowering of blood sugar is what gives you the "munchies" after smoking. Last Edited by NECRON99 on 09/29/2011 01:24 PM |

| MrTrip User ID: 1912599 09/30/2011 11:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The reason, alot more people are getting paranoid cause of weed, is because the last 25 years, the THC percentage has gone from roughly 0.8 percent, to 30,5% so, the effect are more intense, and give an extra kick, also chemicals are used to add "weight"to the plant/destroy fungus/insects, and Hybrids are made to grow practically anywhere... |

| My love User ID: 18183669 12/26/2012 02:51 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This post is so old, but I would just like to say that I'm a VERY paranoid person to begin with. I began smoking weed at the age of 13, I smoked all throughout my childhood years until I hit 16. I was a wild child and ended up being placed on probation, as a requirement of this your obligated to provide urine samples for drug testing. So for I had no choice but to quit smoking for the remainder of my 2 years. The reason why I smoked was because it helped me with my anxiety, depression, and anger problems. Weed just chilled me out and made me love life, helped me realize that there is beauty in the world. While I was on probation I was overwhelmed with my physiological problems, I had relied on marijuana for so many years that once I stopped smoking I had no idea what to do. My depression got worse, my anxiety progressed, things just spiraled out of control. Now that I'm off probation I began to smoke again, exited to do so only to realize that things had changed and that my high was completely different than it was before. I now get extremely paranoid and shake uncontrollably, I basically have mild panic attacks. It upsets me because I know I can enjoy smoking because I have in the past. And I believe that me quitting smoking because of probation really has an affect on it. But overall I LOVE WEED, and even tho at this point I can't enjoy my high, one day I will get over my issues and find the peace in me. Weed has NOTHING to do with MY problems. Weed doesn't have a mind of it's own so for the only way it can affect you, is the way you allow your own mind to do so. Hope this changes the anti-marijuana people's opinion out there. BTW ' I HAVE TONS OF STONER FRIENDS, AND THEY ARE NICEST MOST CHILL LOVING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! So that topic of stoners being "evil" needs to be thrown out. |

This shit is mentally addictive, and makes me think waaaay to much. I think the paranoia really comes from the fact you imagine every scenario or situation, good or bad, and essentially you can't put the "brakes" on your own imagination. I walked out of this experience realizing that weed is for done people, but not all. Some can naturally put things together, feel empathy for others, and can put themselves in their own natural meditative bliss. For those that can't, weed helps us get there. To each his own, the key is finding what's right for you, and having the ability to pursue such without the influence of others, or in a manner that is negative or unproductive. |
