I know there is no way to know for sure but do you think there are less Government Web trolls as you call them over the last two years?
I realize there is no way to know 100% all the troll getting paid to do so and if there are a lot of only a few, but it seems with the cutbacks, and furloughs, that funding would be cut in all non-essential tasks or programs.
Anyone?

This kind of relates to my question. Half seems awfully high...where do you get your numbers from? I have heard people say that ALL online poker are bot programs yet they don't have numbers to show me and I know both people that play online live and people that tried to use programs (they lost their ass, lol..hopefully taught them a lesson!)

No..you are assuming that everyone is the same. Many ( many that I have interacted with on GLP) are NOT afraid..they know that fear is what keeps them from being free. The main difference is people on GLP discuss the things that people outside of our community do not want to.
Try sometime 802267 and see if people that are not "DIALED IN" will discuss all the things you mentioned. Sure there are some that have fear on GLP, but I tend to think the majority alleviate many fears by getting information, talking about it and in some cases either prepping or taking action.

A troll is basically one who posts messages intended to insult and provoke per fas et nefas (see [Trolls and Schopenhauer] below).

Not true. You are pulling stuff out of nowhere. I know people that do and do not talk about things that may or may not be scary and yes they are married, single, divorced, with and without children, educated at small schools, Harvard and some with little education. So not sure why you are telling lies..you have nothing to back it up. No research, no stats and yet you CLAIM to know personal information about people. Come on now.
Let's take an example. I know people that REFUSE to talk about ghost or even death. Now, some are educated in the best schools, some are not. Some are religious while others are not. Also, yes..some have children and others do not. It seems more that it is based on FEAR..fear of discussing one's on mortality..Not that they do not have a brain as you say...not that they are married or not...what are you living under a rock? I mean, I know you know a better cross reference of you neighbors and people in your country and others unless you are a hermit.

So you are REFUSING to back up your claims? I would like to know how YOU have some magical numbers and are privy to information to know which users are married with children, not married, scared, smart or not smart....you said it..NOT I.
I find people like you funny trying to fit everyone into a category when reality is that the numbers will never say that everyone is the same.
Many GLPers are religious..many are not. Many are professionals with excellent credentials and outstanding service records world-wide in schools, military and other organizations. Now...you are claiming that they are paranoid..when if fact you have yet to even prove that I am. LOL...I am old school researcher...paranoia does NOT pay the bills and you should know that. However, facts, figures, and even speculation as long as proving both sides of the story is what DOES keep people interested, does pay the bills and does keep topics moving and/or studied about.
