261 programs installed.

1,194,265 user files to take along with the upgrade.

We'll see how good 7 is.

I'm using it on my laptop, it's ok. One thing is the laptop has very low memory on the video card (like 64mb) and I get a warning when trying to play spider solitaire. It does run a little slowly, but movies run ok?

MS Paint got an upgrade. Now if you happen to accidentally open this app it has the ribbon bar style across the top just like all of office 2007.

Isn't that worth the upgrade?

if you want your computer to run 'normal' you need a new computer to handle 7. its that simple.

if your not running 300gig or more, its a waste of time and you should stay with vista.

We just picked up a new Dell last night - it automatically upgraded to 7 as soon as we turned it on. So far, it's worlds better than Vista and lightening fast.

I detest VISTA so much that I dumped it and returned to Win XP.

I used VISTA when it was first released, and the more updates
and revisions MicroSoft added, the worse its performance became.

If I get a new powerful computer, it will have a clean install of Win 7.

I'm too chicken to do it.

I've heard good things about 7 and bad things.

I'm stable right now and so....I too chicken to do it.
