After 8 years of war, the foreign troop levels should be going down not up. How can there be any success of Afghanistan standing on its own feet, when every few years that pass, more and more troops needs to be sent there to keep things stable? Even after the surge in Iraq, bombs are still going off in the most secure of places, so is it going to be occupation without end; why should the Arabs step up, when it seems that the only recipe for success and stability involves sending more and more foreign troops?
Quoting: Matrix 731351Already been reported that many of the foreign insurgents from Iraq have retreated to Afganistan. Seems apparent that we'd need more troops to defeat them again in Afganistan... does it not?
