Umm people are losing their jobs, houses and entire life savings. There are a growing number of people going hungry.
Personally, the recession has made it almost impossible for me to find a a decent job. I graduated in May with $30,000 in debt and was only able to find a part time manual labor position! Those payments start next month and I don't even have enough money to pay rent!
Some of us are already feeling the doom. But I guess since it hasn't affected you personally, it doesn't exist right?
Things are ALREADY bad and they are only going to get worse. Wake up! DOOM is already here! |

Well, OP, with official unemployment at 10% and real unemployment/underemployement at around 20%+, then we do have DOOM. Don't you get it?
Our country is falling apart. People are losing jobs and NOT getting new jobs or if so, they are getting barely above minimum wage. There soon won't be enough middle-class folks to tax to keep schools running and the infrastructure and ever-growing free-lunch to the poor -- soon DOOM will occur. |
