Every week on this board there are one or more false doom scares.

Yet amazingly, the same fools consistently believe each new doom scare.

For example: Read through the thread this weekend on the impending banking disaster doom, ATM doom, etc. (i.e., The software update that supposedly implied disaster.) Look at how many board regulars, including all of the main characters, seriously proclaimed that "major doom is going down right now," etc.

Total horseshit. Yet they believed it.

And they will believe the next stupid doom scare just as quickly and thoroughly as well.

Now that is funny.
