Do you have the verse? Someone said that some people on earth incarnated from heaven. Pre-existed that is but not as in reincarnation. Have to mull that around. Can you provide your text?

Re: Trippy bible verse - you cannot ascend to heaven unless you first came from heaven
The Holy Spirit is from heaven, for the Holy Spirit is God.

When a believer believes and accepts Jesus Christ as saviour, He accepts His spirit which is the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit fills the believer.

So it is true that no one can ascend to heaven unless he or she is from there first.

That is why no one can go to heaven that is not a believer, for you must have the Holy Spirit in you to ascend to heaven for the Holy Spirit that comes to the believer and is joined to the believer is from heaven, which makes the believer a "heavenly being", through the acceptance and faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

God Bless!!!

Logic is your friend.
The bible is full of UFO stories. The heavens was the sky.
To descend from heaven is to fly down & land. There fore, as we didn't have spacecraft, and the ET's did, they would then ascend back up to heaven in their craft.

Reincarnation is something altogether different.

But if this is the case then there is no man in Heaven except "the Son of Man." Where does that leave everyone else?

No matter. Let them have their Heaven. hf

Read the entire context and you will understand. Enough of the picking and choosing.

Seriously how can non believers use the bible as justification?

I see it differently Satan is god here not people.

Jesus being kindred redeemer redeemed those who are fully human.

Aliens/clones/the fallen rebelleous angelic realm are not apart of salvation thru Christ.

I'm sorry, but where does this come from? So quick to cheapen the Bible with modern day shenanigans and at the same time push those shenanigans into it.

It's beyond belief. There is no secret, it's plain and simple in your face raw, but for some reason you must adjust it to your liking. It's folly.

The end of the story is clear and simple. Christ came to this world (humanity) devoted to complete his task, because he loves you. He did not sway from this path, He did not do anything in secret. All is known of Christ. Stop trying to add to it, and accept his suffering on the cross and his victory. It is that victory that saved you from death, and now you must die to your old sinful ways and take up your cross. Die a little bit each day.

The problem is that Christ Himself is saying these words in John 3:13. What makes it "trippy" is that Christ, who is obviously very much alive and on this planet while speaking, refers to himself as being in heaven as he speaks. As they so eloquently say on GLP: WTF??

I have no idea what the words imply, and my only hope is that one of the many enlightened self-proclaimed divine spokespersons on GLP can explain it.

To me, the words in John 3:13 suggest simple fraud. The author of John was making up things without realizing that the words he was using could not be attributed to the person purportedly speaking. Whoever wrote the book of John messed up big time.

It is impossible for Christ Himself to talk about his ascension as having taken place when in fact it had not. It is also impossible (and quite trippy) for Christ to be in both heaven and on earth at the same time. This is a gotcha moment for Bible critics.

Re: Trippy bible verse - you cannot ascend to heaven unless you first came from heaven
the bible is very clear and explicit as to which group will actually ascend to heaven and co-govern alongside Jesus during the 1000 year period. This group consists of 144,000 and THAT'S IT! no more, no less.

THIS IS ACTUALLY GOOD NEWS =)

just read the bible and do the research. it's very simple.
