So, I'm sitting at my desk on my computer. All of a sudden I here the sound of water splashing behind me. I turn around and my cat is on the shelf behind me taking a huge piss all over my guitar and my jacket and his food dish. I can't believe it. I've never seen anything like it. What the hell? It's probably something more than the food thing, or else he would have done this in the past when hungry for fresh food. There is likely something bothering him. It may be urinary related it may be more behavioral. If it is a urinary stone he will likely start urinating frequently in small amounts. It could be a health issue not related to the urinary tract at all. He's just saying something is bothering him. Behavioral issues could include as another poster mentioned litterbox cleanliness as well as other cats in the area or smells on your clothes.
