"hydrogen" and "oxygen" are human labels to energy amplitudes that scientists measure and decided to call it that way. in an electronic microscope you may see these amplitudes in 3D form, yet it is still a computer interpreting energy signals. the hydrogen and the oxygen do exist as corpuscles, because corpuscular theory has already been debunked by quantum physics. what we have is a sea of energy and a few humans identifying certain recurring patterns and giving it names.
