Oh, and we RP folks pretty much have the Repub party by the balls. You won't win again without our support and if you don't put REAL conservatives (real small govt, not just lip service and that means knock out the imperialism) then we'll vote 3rd party or maybe even against you. Again. As the clock ticks more and more Repubs are standing with us.
Not in favor of the 'big tent' then you don't need us, Rush. Keep on shutting out our ideas and minimizing what we stand for. To us, having a neocon is just as bad as having a neoliberal. No difference really. So keep putting up anti-constitution corrupt neocons and you'll keep losing.

When he ran for the RNC nomination he got 5% of the vote. Conservatives need to take back the GOP like Rush said. Ive been saying that all year. Just fix the GOP with conservatives and she will rise again. The president of the united states must be a president who appeals to the majority. Ron Paul followers are an extreme minority but in war, would be benefited by fighting on the side of a re-born GOP than in a guaranteed loss with a 3rd party candidate.
