I've just been waiting four months to get payment from a university I did work for, nobody has any blame, they just pass the paperwork back and forth, it's always 'moving through the system'

And it's like this everywhere, with every single institution .. nothing gets done, it is all papers getting pushed around like Kafka's The Trial. It is a nightmare. Nothing gets done, instead it only appears that things get done.

When I do tasks in life I always get them done quickly and well, and people usually don't like that

So is this what we call a progressive 'civilized society'?

also when really talented / capable people who actually do get things done are in the system, they are cut down because they have so much BS to climb through, we are really in a society that champions the least efficient slowest group
