OK, I just received this in an email but it is without attribution so we will just have to verify for ourselves.
This is what they say they have found in the bill so far:
I share this with all of you with concern, a reason and time for us to stand up and let our Representatives of the House and Congress know that we can not let this bill to pass. I am in favor of a better health system that can take care of our "Citizens" including the needy and elderly. Listed below are bullet points from the first 500 pages of the proposed bill they are trying to slam thru. This is not what America - The Land Of The Free stands for. My note is not political in favor of a particular party but for the well being of the Citizens of the United States of America.
Please do not sit back and assume you do not have a voice. Take action, do something, or we will all pay and feel the negative effects for years to come.
Contact your Representatives and let them know how you feel about this. We, as a country, cannot afford another 1000 page bill to go through congress without being read. Another 500 pages to go. I have highlighted a few of the items that are down right unconstitutional.

Not one person has said any such thing here but you are wrong about the government paying for anything.
They don't pay for squat other than with the money they TAKE from taxpayers. So taxpayers pay for the roads just as they will this health care. Surely you don't think congress and Obama are paying for anything themselves!
The only money the government EVER has is what they TAKE from working people by taxes. So yeah, lots of people don't want to pay for healthcare for others when they can't afford it for themselves and their own children. Selfish bastards! |

The volume of money that will be channeled through the health care industry due to these government run programs(which always go way over budget) over the coming years will balloon costs and will contribute to even more waste and mismanagement. This health care bubble will eventually bust, and instead of like when the property and money/stock bubbles of the past bursted which caused many to lose their houses and investments, it will be the lives of many that will be lost. Yes, they seem to have grown tired of just stealing our money and have advanced to life and death.
Remember Obama said in his speech to the Jewish community that he was partners with God in matters of life and death!
That kind of arrogance is going to cost many lives as those deemed unworthy of treatment will just die. And of course, that's all we will be allowed to have. Just never knowing what is really in them as often they are a source of problems for those taking a generic version of something. They are not always identical to the original drug especially in the delivery protion of the product.

Here is a portion of his take on the resolution:

Where do we go from here?
Senate Democrats are currently working behind closed doors to merge the Finance
Committee bill with the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions (HELP)
Committee bill. On October 29th, House Democrat Leadership introduced the Affordable
Health Care for America Act, H.R. 3962, which melded the three different versions of
H.R. 3200 that were approved by the House Energy and Commerce Committee,
Education and Labor Committee and the Ways and Means Committee earlier this
summer. Once the Senate merger is complete, the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)
will estimate how much each proposal costs and then the bills will move to the House and
Senate floors respectively for consideration. If both bills are approved, a committee
composed of members of the House and Senate will be convened to combine the House
and Senate versions into a single bill that can be approved by Congress and sent to the
President.
Because health care reform will affect every single American, we all deserve the
opportunity to fully read, understand, and share our views with our representatives before
any vote occurs. Any health care bill should be available for at least 72 hours with a full
CBO score prior to voting.
What do the Democrat bills have in common?
The House and Senate bills all agree that insurers must stop denying coverage for preexisting
conditions. They all require individuals to purchase insurance and impose
financial penalties on people who fail to do so. In addition, they all provide for an
enormous and costly expansion of Medicaid. According to the CBO, everyone in the
lowest income bracket will be forced into Medicaid thereby increasing each state’s
budget by $37 billion.
Each of the bills being considered will cut over $500 billion from Medicare to pay for
their costs. Specifically, the bills would cut the Medicare Advantage program affecting
30,833 seniors in our part of Indiana alone.
What are the major differences between the bills?
All of the bills set up variations of a government-run program known as “the public
option.” The Senate Finance Committee bill did not originally include one; however, the
Senate Democrat leadership recently announced that the legislation it intends to bring to
the Senate floor for consideration will include a public option. This plan will reportedly
allow states to opt out once the “Health Insurance Exchange,” that is intended to offer a
variety of insurance options, is up and running. According to news reports, under the
Senate plan, all states will have a public option by 2013 and they will be allowed to optout
a year later. While this sounds like an escape clause, it is really just a ruse designed
to make their bill more politically palatable.
Both the House and Senate HELP Committee bills include a government-run program
where the Secretary of Health and Human Services negotiates the payment rates. This
allows the Senate and House Democrats to claim that a government-run health plan will
be able to compete on a level playing field with private health insurers. According to
actuaries at the Lewin Group, this plan will have severe effects on the cost and delivery
of health care and could result in as many as 114 million Americans losing their current
insurance coverage and being forced into the public option.
In addition, the House and Senate HELP Committee bills impose a mandate on
employers to provide coverage to their employees or pay an 8 percent payroll tax penalty.
While the Senate Finance Committee bill does not include this provision, it does impose
fines on companies whose employees enroll in Medicaid or receive federal subsidies for
coverage they purchase through the health insurance exchange. Unlike the proposals from
the House and Senate HELP Committee, the Senate Finance Committee bill has a 35
percent tax on insurers who offer “Cadillac” plans (policies which cost more than $8,000
for individuals and $21,000 for families) and imposes huge taxes on medical device
manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies to help pay for
their bill. How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a naughty world. The Merchant of Venice. Act. v. Sc. 1. W. Shakespeare |

They lost me at aliens will be covered ....sorry. I read on the bill in BIG BOLD wording illegals are not covered... This kind of shit is what makes us look like idiots! The fucking bill is bad enough all on it's own without the lies. I think they are being sent out by the left to piss people off and make the mis- quote the bill thus making anything they say null!
Well, if YOU had conducted YOUR due diligence, you would understand that the loophole is THERE IS NO MANDATE TO VERIFY IF A PERSON IS HERE LEGALLY OR NOT.
So, I ask: who looks like the idiot?
/
UMM yes there is... they are going to give us rfd cards and shit.... keep reading. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 794732
It looks to be a part of the old bill on page 1509 [link to rehberg.house.gov]
Now I have not went through and checked everything it is quoting. I stopped since they are now working on a NEW bill but they are merging old with new so I expect to see it somewhere in there as well. I would think if they are issuing cards they would need birth records and such as most states require those for a simple drivers license. I am not sure why you are attacking me. I only made the statement that we must be carefully about reading and passing forward unsigned e-mails (as the op on that post said is where the info came from and they weren't sure it was true) as they get passed forward and everyone ends up quoting them as fact and when found that some facts are indeed not fact the person and all in the apposed movement end up looking like idiots to those that are for the bills. |

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
