Sometimes, Ron Paul has great clarity. His push to audit the Fed is a great example of that. For some reason, and I don't question his motives, when it comes to our fight against our Islamic enemies, he is utterly clueless.

Iran is building nukes. Their leadership - the ones who control those nukes in the making - constantly chant "Death to America!" We should take them at their word when they do that.

While cutting off their refined oil won't stop them from finishing their nuke project, it could make them less able to stop an preemptive strike against them.

Yes, a preemptive strike. Iran is intending on killing us all with their EMP nukes. Nothing will sway those fanatics from their goal. The only effective response is to do our best to neuter their mission before they carry it out.

BTW, those delusional Islamist nutjobs believe they will be protected from a counter strike from their EMP nuke deployment by Allah and the 12th Mahdi. So please refrain from telling me Ian wouldn't do it because we'd kick their ass.

They do not believe we would succeed, which means the threat of our counter attack would not dissuade them from attacking us.

The reason no one took Ron Paul seriously during the Republican nomination process is due to his nutty defense stances. Quite simply, he'd get us all killed if he were in charge.

Re: Ron Paul: Sanctions on Iran are an Act of War! One of His Best Yet!Quote

We are practically slathering over the casxpian Sea oil deposits therein. We are doing evrything which we have done in the past to force them to take ac tion against us or our interests. There are multiple 'winners' in this if we do. The Sauds are Sunni, they comprise the largest membership in the Muslim world and they most particularly are Wahhabi Sunni.

Presently the dominating political boy in Iraq is Shia and so are the Iranians by far dominated by Shia. While not officially having done so effectively we have partitioned iraq off into tiers of influences. The Kurds in the north, the Shia and the Sunni having the bottom and middle parts overwhich to preside and reap.

Turkey who has long been our allky is cozy with ussia and so is Iran inspite of the fact that both have a long history of contempt and hate for her due to previous threats and land grabbing by Russia. Iran has n early two hundred years of not reaching into other countries to carry war to them.

We are doing everything, it seems, to draw her into one just as we did with Japan and how we and our allies humilitated and broke the Germans economically forcing them to address this via WWll.

There is a whole lot ongoing herein and interests being served. Iran has possibly less oil than we accrue to her and most notably she has rationed the refined product to her own people for years and cannot long tolerate sanctions which would destroy her economically and , for my opinion, we do not have this right and whose interest are really being served herein? The international powers that be do not allow her to import those who can aid her in refining her own oil. We have effectively politicked to make sure she cannot obtain refined oil for domestic use.

In the interim we are in Pakistan with major operations and are building another monster embassy, perhaps two within this country. We are making forays into Somalia and stand mute while uropean interest take their toxic crap and deliberately pollute the shallow waters or littorals and rich fishing beds, depriving the Somalis of their ability to sustain themselves.

Behind so much of this are the rich men, the "merchants of the earth", "the great and mighty men" which prophetically are leading us into ruination and captivity.

You have consumed far too much Koolaid and far too little actual history.

Read the information in the following threads with slow and analytical thought and then study Iran's history. She is not - and never has been - a threat to the national security of the US. We, on the other hand....

We need to stop poking the stick and remove ourselves from her sovereign affairs...just as we would expect other countries to do with us.

It is of little interest to me about what some Iranian in a tent thought or felt 100 years ago. I'm much mire concerned about what they are doing now and what they intend to do.

Muslims love to justify the present by some perceived slight, real or imagined, for their actions of today. That dog won't hunt anymore.

For 27 years Iran has declared war on the US. They combine that with a Revolutionary Council and a president who are wack jobs fully intent on killing everyone in the United States. They might even succeed, especially since we have the dunce of all dunces for president right now.

It's quite simple: Either they are destroyed or they will destroy us. Next year, probably as early as January will determine which way this goes.

Thank god Israel has a warlike Prime Minister right now. Hopefully , they will be able to complete the job successfully, because our dunderhead leader with sympathies towards the Islamic crazies can't be counted on.

State Dept Diplomat (Marine) Quits! Says Afghanis Fighting Because We're Occupying Their Country!

[link to www.youtube.com]

[link to www.foxnews.com]

Matthew Hoh, a former Marine who fought in Iraq and subsequently joined the State Department, said he believes the war is simply fueling the insurgency.

"I have lost understanding of and confidence in the strategic purposes of the United States' presence in Afghanistan," Hoh wrote in his resignation letter, dated Sept. 10 but published early Tuesday. "I have doubts and reservations about our current strategy and planned future strategy, but my resignation is based not upon how we are pursuing this war, but why and to what end."

"America's fighting a war that doesn't exist. We're fighting because our leaders tell us that the Muslims hate freedom and hate liberty and hate women in the work place and that's got nothing to do with it. It has everything to do with what we do in the Islamic world, what our policies are, and what our impact that is there." - Michael Scheur Fmr. Head CIA Bin Laden Unit

Neo-Cons Are Cheerleading For A Terrorist Who Helped Kill Hundreds Of U.S. Marines

The horrible irony to arise out of the riots and protests in Iran is that many Neo-Cons and phony conservatives, in their unified effort to enthusiastically embrace the Anglo-American establishment’s agenda for regime change, are cheerleading for a brutal thug who directed a terrorist campaign that killed hundreds of U.S. Marines in the 1980’s.

This once again proves that slack-jawed Neo-Con twits, ditto-heads for phony conservative media whores like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, have no loyalty whatsoever to America, but only to the corrupt power structure which they like to believe they are a part of.

FYI, I was educated in private schools for most of my life. That's why I don't fall for the crapola you're trying to foist with your closed mind.

Try to get real clear about what I'm about to say. When it comes to the real possibility that Iran intends to kill everyone in the US, I don't give a rat's ass about their motivations.

FYI, the Islamist use this bullshit, "You need to understand how we've been wronged by the Joooos" as part of their strategy to spread their vicious religion through the sword.

The leadership of Iran couldn't be plainer with their intentions. It is in their own words - three words to be exact - is this, "DEATH TO AMERICA!" Which part of those three words don't you understand?

Those three words are chanted by the leadership on a regular basis. They mean it. And I mean it when I say such people need to be detroyed before they get the chance to kill us.

Even if their ancestors were wronged 50 or 100 years ago, I don't give a whit about it when they are threatening our very existence.

I think this speech really shows what level RP stands among the elites.

He's high enough to understand the implications of the latest sanctions and he is expressing confusion at the reasoning behind imposing them.

But he is not able to consider that the inevitable war with Iran as ground zero actually is the goal.

Israel... let off the leash.
Cry HAVOC!

I often feel that RP sometimes seems to forget about the overlord stringpullers of bodies such as Halliburton who finger enough diverse pies to make periodic bursts of large scale war a very profitable venture and not just financially.

Just one example of the uses of war for corporate strategy...
Destabilise "enemy" nation X to justify pulling out of declining EPZ investments, restabilise old "enemy" nation Y, invest in rebuilding to encourage tax break investment incentives and set up shop for peanuts and start all over again, grind out a little profit and when you smell the standard of living rising to high for the indigenous wage slaves, start destabilising.

Can't seem to fully satbilise Iraq?
You just wait till somebody like Nike moves in and builds an EPZ, Iraq will get its shit together overnight.
