Its of upmost importance if somebody suspects they are a victim of abduction that they save and preserve any potential evidence relating to the experience they just had.

If something of alien origin has had physical contact with the person and has touched them, potential DNA evidence can be collected it can possibly be PCR'd and analysed.

Low copy DNA gets everywhere, even walking in a room and breathing can leave traces, its incredible.

However it is very expensive to process.

Anyway.

Thats making a very big asumption that aliens are biological in nature in the first place and that PCR would work with the alien DNA.
