Back-engineered anti-gravity technology is probably where they have (excuse the pun) 'gravitated' to.

Why would they spend millions of fuel/rocket systems when the technology they need is 'probably' (and I use that word speculatively) already in deployment somewhere - and that somewhere is pretty much unknown to basic little earthlings like us.
