Some terrorists will survive and they will set off a dirty bomb in New York city. Then there will be mass sterilization of the survivors so as not to set off mutants in the future. Finally, World War III will break out when OZ strikes UK in retaliation for crimes against humanity after it is revealed that the UK has been trying to make a black hole with a new powerful particle collider!
