Why do I get the feeling that women tend to think men stink? Are we really that dirty? Doesn't that cause some paradox or something in that many women tend to find a man who looks like he was working sexy? I mean, how do you physically work and not stink? Or is it simply a pleasant view from across the room that is quickly ruined once you approach and breech the scent barrier?

It's a very rare woman who takes care of herself after she gets married and has kids. Then they think they have a free pass to not care with how they look. They wear gym clothes, cut there hair into a "mom" look, get fat, watch Oparah and generally quit trying to look sexy at all. You can tell a married mom from a mile away.
On top of that...there is nothing more unattractive than watching a woman yelling and getting after her kids...yuck!
I really don't think they give a shit about attracting you when they are chasing after their kids.

He'll still be interested and you'll be available when he is - AND he's gonna know (if only in the back recesses of his head) that you "could" go find a new mate if need be! And nothing turns a man on like something most of his buddies want and would jump in a NY second! And knowing that you don't give them (the buddies) a second glance even when they're palavering after your ass - is even HOTTER! Male ego is a vicious rotten thing - but if he's got a pair of balls, he's got one. Don't fight it. Use it to your own benefit! Smart girls get everything they want, and even a loving spouse who takes damned good care of them, the kids, and himself. Dumb girls get divorced when he's fucking someone who looks like you did once upon a time...
Remember that! It's far easier to keep him interested than to go thru splitting the sheets and then trying to find someone new! At about the 25 year point some couples are still going strong, still having hot sex and still look like they're in their 30's. Others are old, tired, and don't bother fucking each other any longer. And then the wife or husband is saying "How could he/she cheat on me?" Easy Answer: you've turned into a fat ugly toad and who would want to screw you any longer? Answer: NO ONE unless they were desperate or drunk or both! |

I could not disagree with you more. Living with a man, sharing a bed with him every night = shaving legs everyday. My man sees me everyday therefore I make an effort to look good everyday.
As a single girl this was not necessary.
My hair has not been short since I was 14 or 15. Most of the mothers I know who have a mom look, looked that way before marriage and children.
I have lost weight since becoming a mother, 20kg.
As for Oprah, who has time for daytime television with kids.
Okay, you've got me on the gym clothes. I wear gym clothes when I am working in the garden and playing with my son.....and truth be told, you may even catch me without make up on while gardening.

It's funny to see all the defensive men who must know that they smell, so have gotten their undies in a twist. I have to agree with all the ladies that a CLEAN smelling man is nice to be around.
Notice that I did not say a man with cologne or a man with styling products in his hair. I said a CLEAN smelling man.
There is a guy at work who is ripe on a regular basis, and it is gross. He has a pungent, goaty, musty type of smell. You can smell him the minute you walk into the office.
If anyone that smelled like that tried to get near me, I would vomit. A few people have noticed his 'scent' in the office and comment on it behind his back. I don't know if he does not bathe, or if he has some type of health issue going on, but it is disgusting.
Long nails, toenails or smelly feet are also a turnoff. It is as much of a turn off for us as a smelly pussy would be if some girl took off her underwear and you could smell her. Some smells are just deal-killers. |

And ladies, thank you for posting here. I can see from the replies by some men that they don't like to hear the truth being told. Well, you're being silly, guys. If we don't know what turns women off, how can we be more attractive to our ladies?
I like to get honest feedback and to read honest posts like the ones that the ladies have posted here. It's all really useful information and no-one forced any of the ladies to go to the effort of writing these handy lists and comments for us, so just say "thank you" and appreciate the fact that some women out there are kind enough to show us where we go wrong.
It's not often that you get such honest answers and even if you don't make these mistakes, it's good to keep them in the back of your mind because we all get lazy at times, lads, let's be honest here, then we wonder why the girls aren't exactly going the extra mile to get us into bed. |
