Major is a power player and a half. His type is the number one reason people are leaving the churches today. I am working with many folks who have left the church and I have friends around the world with the same problem of this, so it is just not an American problem.
Instead of being kind and gentle it is always power play after power play, one up manship after another. And the worse thing about it, you can point it out to them, and it does not bother them one bit. They just keep blasting as if they own everyones soul.
I even gave a true stories of what I have been dealing with where I live and have seen many hurt by the churches.
Major thinks I am out to nail him or something, and it is not about that, it is about his attitude towards others.
Anyway, I can respect your opinions of what you think God is and God is not. And I can respect your feelings about Christ and the churches and all that. See, I know I am not going to be your judge when you pass on.
I even gave scripture to show what is going on with many Christians and with pastors how they judge others that do not meet their interpretations of the bible.
I don't have to worry about how Major comes at me, and I have only presented what I have said before and now to show everyone what is going on in the churches today.
Hey I even saw a thread last week about someone who was a Christian posting a huge question what he should do about his pastor trying to get into his wife's pants.
Talk about proof of what I am saying is going down, that was from someone I have never spoken with before. The falling away is happening fast.

He is too pushy and several other things I care not to say because of my nature as a person who tries to respect everyone.

You know Hardtruth, many Christians and pastors really do not dig out each scripture and they fall short when someone asks them hard questions or blast the Word, Christ and all.
Let me share something with you, and you have seen this being said before by other non-believers.
In 2 Kings chapter 9:1 it says this in the King James bible... " And Elisha the prophet called on of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy lions, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramoth-gilead."
What many do not know is that in the manuscripts it does not say, "child", it says young man in that verse.
I wonder how many would know that?

Elijah also had a run in with what many see as little children and he made a bear come and tare them up.
And they we see the non-believer coming forward and say "See God lets prophets kill little children by using a bear."
What they do not know on that scripture also it does not say "little children", it says young men.
See, in Hebrew there are certain words that cannot be translated into English. So the scribes did he best they could.
I have seen thread after thread on glp alone and not one time have I seen any Christian coming forward with that correction of the verse of Elijah sending the bears to take out "little children" as the verse says.
There are many verse's like that Hardtruth, and that is why many non-believers never learn about what truly is written in the manuscripts.
Country Girl came forward on this thread and presented some good honest information and proved what I am saying now to you by her posting.
And did you notice that since I had corrected Major on the Song of Moses he has been in my face ever since?
He has to try ever way he can to try and take me down. I actually feel sorry for his congregation because if he is doing that to me, God forbid if one of his congregational folk come forward and try to correct what he might present. I bet they would be thrown out of his church.
I have seen his kind of pride so many times before.
Too bad too, I reached out with an "palm branch" (figure of speech) and he dumped it right after I tried to correct some mistakes being made again. It is not about him, it is about what is written in the manuscripts that I am about.
And I know Hardtruth, that is what you are about, trying to prove what you have found in the books that you have read. Hey Hardtruth, I am not out to win you back to the Lord, your steps and walk in this life is yours. I will walk mine and I will love as many as I can and I will not get involved with the blood bath that is going on in your post. Thats right Starman, when your ridiclous theories and bad theology are questioned, attack the messenger. Why talk civially and discuss differences? ATTACK. Everyone on this site sees exactly how you re-act and then you blaim it on some kind of dilexia or something or someone else. That is why I stopped responding you. It is just one long argument.

Since I have retired, I have no influence on who comes and who goes to any church, but my guess is that the reason some do not go to church is because you have convinced them not to go. You degrate the church at every opportunity.

Major is a power player and a half. His type is the number one reason people are leaving the churches today. I am working with many folks who have left the church and I have friends around the world with the same problem of this, so it is just not an American problem.
Instead of being kind and gentle it is always power play after power play, one up manship after another. And the worse thing about it, you can point it out to them, and it does not bother them one bit. They just keep blasting as if they own everyones soul.
I even gave a true stories of what I have been dealing with where I live and have seen many hurt by the churches.
Major thinks I am out to nail him or something, and it is not about that, it is about his attitude towards others.
Anyway, I can respect your opinions of what you think God is and God is not. And I can respect your feelings about Christ and the churches and all that. See, I know I am not going to be your judge when you pass on.

What many do not know is that in the manuscripts it does not say, "child", it says young man in that verse.
I wonder how many would know that?

Elijah also had a run in with what many see as little children and he made a bear come and tare them up.
And they we see the non-believer coming forward and say "See God lets prophets kill little children by using a bear."

See, in Hebrew there are certain words that cannot be translated into English. So the scribes did he best they could.

There is a huge difference is warning people of what is going on and what you are saying. I always try and get people into "good teaching churches". And I know of several churches that teach correctly and the pastors are outstanding.
So, we can all see your bitterness and Satan has a

Hardtruth, as I have said before, I know about your quest, your search. I have been down your road many years ago.
I respect you because of your search, and I respect you because you are a child of God. Others who have not been able to persuade you, want to crunch ya. I just want to continue to chat with you in hopes that you can see that when you love God, and when you love Christ (I am speaking personal here about me), that you don't have to bash someone because they do not believe in Christ or the God that I believe in.
I know many Christians will find fault with what I just said, but I can assure you I have brought many back to the Lord who have been hurt by pastors and church systems. (When I say brought back to the Lord, I really had no Spiritual control over them (That part is always Gods part), but by me sharing what I have learned and the mistakes in the bible and helping them overcome the pit falls of the world, then then begin to see the truth of what I have shared.
Simple things like money, being in debt, and using the scriptures in the bible to show them how to live with debt and do the way God has told us to do, has brought many back to at least taking a second look at the Word.
I choose to be gentle in my method of sharing, and I don't care if other Christians don't like it because I don't join their blood baths that they think is holy.
I hope you understand where I am coming from Hardtruth. I am not out to change you, but to present the correct way and the truths that I have found in scriptures and the mistakes that people make in teaching them and learning them.

Major is a power player and a half. His type is the number one reason people are leaving the churches today. I am working with many folks who have left the church and I have friends around the world with the same problem of this, so it is just not an American problem.
Instead of being kind and gentle it is always power play after power play, one up manship after another. And the worse thing about it, you can point it out to them, and it does not bother them one bit. They just keep blasting as if they own everyones soul.
I even gave a true stories of what I have been dealing with where I live and have seen many hurt by the churches.
Major thinks I am out to nail him or something, and it is not about that, it is about his attitude towards others.
Anyway, I can respect your opinions of what you think God is and God is not. And I can respect your feelings about Christ and the churches and all that. See, I know I am not going to be your judge when you pass on.
I even gave scripture to show what is going on with many Christians and with pastors how they judge others that do not meet their interpretations of the bible.
I don't have to worry about how Major comes at me, and I have only presented what I have said before and now to show everyone what is going on in the churches today.
