Hey I do want to share something with you and I want to post your words to show you something of an error on your part. Your close, but still not quite there, and please, you know me, I am not out to object to anything that you post. I just want to show you what I have learned. Nothing more, nothing less.
Your words on Gen. 2:7
In Chapter 2 is the history of ha-adam made from ha-adamah; and, in contrast to these lowly "living creatures" (nephesh hayyah), Yahveh-clohim "breathed into his nostrils nishmath hayyim -- (living breaths), and ha-adam became nephesh hayyah-a living soul". (2:7)

From what I see your not quite there yet with the correct definition of Hebrew..
Breath is not nishmath, it is Neshamah from the manuscripts that I read from.. lol
Also you say "Adam as 2:7 is the same as the man of chapter 1". Not quite correct there either my friend.
Adam of 2:7 is eth- Ha, adham (with art, and particle = the same man Adam with Eve, to help you understand. (adham is correct spelling of that word man in Hebrew for 2:7)
Eth denotes (The man) and if you see the Large H in Ha, that also denotes a special man or a man for a purpose to make things simpler for those who can't read Hebrew.
Nephesh does mean soul, you got that correct at the end of above what I reposted of your words.
I just wanted to show a difference of what I am reading and what you are posting..
Just remember that the man in 1:26 is not the same Man of Gen. 2:7..

I was making a point, not judging you nor worried about discernment from what peoples opinions are.
My discernments will kick in when I see a Kenite trying to take a soul, then I will put the pedal to the metal and let that Kenite know who, what, when and how their end will be.
Many Christians say they have good discernment capabilities, but you know if they did they would stop worrying about the battle. Again, we have the victory, are you standing in that circle? (rhetorical question only)
I have the victory already, I don't need to worry about what others say or think! I let the Holy Spirit open eyes and close those that need to be closed. (refer; to Romans 11:8, and Isaiah 66:4) to help you understand my mindset and expressions.

I remember what I thought when I first read Genesis as a boy. I didn't think that God was talking with gods or co-creators when he talked with other beings. I thought that he was talking with angels. I still don't interpret those passages as referring to polytheism. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 808330

Why do you care if HT takes offense?
He is not bothered in the least at the offense he causes.
But then I do not share your good opinion of him - I think he is a very evil satanic person.
My opinion of him is because he respects those that respect him and that is how I feel also.
As a Christian I see Christians attacking or better said using the same word I posted already "adhominums" each other as Christians for not agreeing with their personal belief.
I choose not to attack anyone, because in my opinion, if I attack, I become their judge!
I had a pastor try those things(adhominums) on me here (ago) a few weeks ago and I played with him until he got the point of what "pride" can do to anyone who has a mindset of perfection.
I respect HT because he is studying for himself, and personally that adds volumes to me personally. Most Christians ( I am using Christians because I am one ) want someone to do their homework for them. Big difference in my opinion.
As the pastor found out, even with his credentials, we all make mistakes about what we learn know matter who we are.
What I do know is this... We are all children of God, the creator of all things.
We were all together once before in the first dispensation of time. (For those who understand that statement can agree. Those who can't will disagree!) We all rejoiced and loved each other without wars or deaths and etc.
That is my point of view of giving HT. the respect for his opinions.

I was making a point, not judging you nor worried about discernment from what peoples opinions are.
My discernments will kick in when I see a Kenite trying to take a soul, then I will put the pedal to the metal and let that Kenite know who, what, when and how their end will be.
Many Christians say they have good discernment capabilities, but you know if they did they would stop worrying about the battle. Again, we have the victory, are you standing in that circle? (rhetorical question only)
I have the victory already, I don't need to worry about what others say or think! I let the Holy Spirit open eyes and close those that need to be closed. (refer; to Romans 11:8, and Isaiah 66:4) to help you understand my mindset and expressions.
See, I have found that God is in control, not me.
I share what I can when I can and let the chips fall where they may. I try to express love most of the time, yet fail that at times.
I have only one enemy. He knows me, and he runs from me! All others can be saved, even a Kenite!

I can agree with many things that Hardtruth has presented, and they are true from what he has found out in his studies. But as a person who studies also, I can share with Hardtruth what I feel might be a mistake and he too can share with me what he thinks I made a mistake in and not go nuts over who is right or wrong. (People have forgotten about simple little words like honor and respect.) I could debate Hardtruth all day long without blasting him. I have debated Hardtruth, and I will always respect his opinions even if I disagree. He is the pilot of his ship, and if he crashes upon the rocks, that is his business, not mine. (take no offence HT, just me trying to express myself).
I hope I have done some good on this thread, but I doubt it. lol |

Alot of the material in the Bible is also stern, you need to be corrected. In some cases if you were knowingly bringing idolatry into the camp for a reason to bring disorder among Gods people you would be thrown out. |
