This is most amusing .I am a mixture of nationalities.Where I live does not consider itself to be English yet is part of England and mostly wishes it could have a border or just float away .I was born in England and my mother's family are natives.My father was told by a gypsy that he would go to a foreign country and marry a native.Or aboriginis/neandertahls as we were told on question time.I was very resistant to learning any foreign language and so I cannot speak more than 10 words of Polish.I have been there once in my life for about a week.When I talked to Polish girls who have recently arrived here they asked me my father's surname and then look confused when I told them as it isn't polish and so it goes on.I know my family have lived in their polish parish since 1300.It is all so very very silly.But jobs and money are serious and it is hard to see other people with jobs which you think should be yours.When I first came to the town in which I live I was told that the council did not like to employ natives of the county.I was horrified.These things are always with us.Try and be at peace and happy and do try the sausage if you like garlic and meat. |

Oh and my Dad is not in a cemetery.He wanted to be cremated and his ashes spread on the sea.So that is what we did. |

Polish people will probably assimilate in the UK better than just about any group, OP feels threatened by the fact that 1st generation children of Polish immigrants will look like white English kids, will talk like white English kids, be just as able academically as white English kids and be virtually indistinguishable from their white English classmates in practically everything except surname, I know this happens because I've seen numerous examples this is the advantage they have over ethnic groups like Indians, Pakistanis and Blacks who are like fish out of water in Europe.

I'm a white, mostly british conservative and i have no problem at all with the east europeans who have come to this country. They are friendly and hard working and doing their best to make a better life for themselves. The problem is the british underclass who use it as just another excuse to spend all day sitting around smoking skunk and drinking frosty jacks. The jobs were always available but the indigenous british didnt want to do them as many are just plain lazy and live with the idea that they don't need to work as they are going to win the lottery, x factor, britains got talent or marry/give birth to a premiership footballer. Take a walk into any town centre right now and it won't be Polish people sat around on park benches drinking, fighting and verbally abusing passers by, it won't be indians, romanians, morrocans, pakistanis or west indians either. |

Thank you for the last post.I am a female Victor Meldrew.I loved my Dad well enough to scatter his ashes in the way he wished.It took me too long to do it though.I was trying to explain to him what you have said.I was born here and went to uni and got a degree.I had an English mother.I couldn't understand why the Polish shops would not serve his friend but after the way he spoke to me here,I can understand why.It was abusive.Unless I cared to mention that my father was Polish no one would know.Because I am a mixture I think i should be tolerant but I also feel its important to keep our English culture even though is has been enriched for many generations by foreigners.Some Polsih boys came here after the war aged ten or so via Persia, they could not speak English when they came .I met them when they had qualified as engineers about 12 years later.So I think that you are correct in your speculation.Look at our Foreign Seceratary for example. |

There's no mystery as to why the caitiff dregs of white Europe responded so enthusiastically to your throwing the door open to exploitation of a nation. Whites have been doing this for 4,000 years.
And FYI I've already seen the children of the opportunists who indeed do pass for English, until of course they get older and take on the mutt aspect of their mongrel ancestors.

Let me tell you how the government sees this.
They don't.
They have no idea how bad it is.
If you come down to East London, to any large supermarket on any given day or evening, you will hear a Slavic din.
In the street you see them in couples, with kitsch styles, trying and failing to ape the natives. Their middle aged women look like hawks. The men look like they were on a chain gang. Then of course you'll see the whole clan practically engaging in a gypsy style get together, right there in the aisle you're trying to negotiate.

Like many others in the UK I have no problem with imigrants coming to live here if they are fleeing persecution or are coming to contribute to this country and integrate. I do feel that far too many people who do not fulfil those criteria have been allowed to enter this country, but they are not all from Eastern Europe!
I cant blame people who have come here to better themselves or their circumstances, be that through a job or benefits. The fact that our leaders saw fit to let an unchecked number of unvetted imigrants into this country is the primary problem.
I live in the north of the country and find the Polish people that I meet to be generally unoffensive. Honestly they have very little impact on my day to day life. Sure Polish shops have sprung up and now I get to try foods and so forth that I may never have done. If I was ever refused entry to one of these shops because I am English then I too would be playing hell about it.
The thing is these people are here now and much as you may not like that, the possibility of them being forced out is remote. So instead of whining and bitchin about it why dont you do something useful in helping these people to integrate into our society and ensure that our leaders never allow such a huge influx of imigrants into this country again.
These are positive ways of dealing with the reality of the situation not some xenophobic pipe dream of a white eutopia that will never happen!

The most despicable thing about this whole situation and about your response is that it was meant to create the self same illusory white utopia of which you speak.
You may not notice these Poles and others who try to "integrate" by:
- Setting up Polish shops
- Speaking their own languages at all times
- Shunning the native populations
- Taking every viable job available from blue collar positions down
- Taking up all the decent housing through insidious Housing Association and Local Authority policies
- Inviting their extended families to come and join in the free for all
- Reproducing among themselves both here and at home for the purpose of exploiting the benefits system
- Feigning British Citizenship, culture and nationality to suit
- Sending taxpayers' money back to their countries of origin
This is because all you see are white people like you and you find them inoffensive, but I should invite you to come down here to London where these people are being shipped in wholesale in a shameless attempt to replace non-white populations with whatever white stock is willing to exploit the policy.
You may not notice them, but we do, because it's our housing and jobs that are being taken in the disgraceful stealth and secrecy which keeps you content.
Almost every day while using public transport I have to suffer these uncouth opportunists.
I'm sorry but they have NO INTENTION of integrating with the community here. Their intent is clearly cold and without remorse.
They are here to replace us. |
