I love this headline at CNBC.com. This is pure 1984 Newsspeak.
"J&J to Cut 6-7% of Workforce in Restructuring"
Notice the word restructuring.
So they are going to eliminate 7000 to 8000 people and call it 'restructuring?'
LOL.
If im an owner of a big company, that would be quite a trip to bring in some workers into my office and say..
Me: Hey there, how's everything?
Worker: Everything is great boss.
Me: Thats nice. Your services will no longer be needed even though you've been doing a great job.
Worker: Huh? Does that mean Im fired or laid-off?
Me: Not like that. Its more like "restructuring. Yeah, thats it. Yes, you will no longer be working, but its for restructuring
Worker: Umm, ok, thanks alot asshole.

piss came out clear, usually means that stocks will move higher.
hopefully Coke Zero with its caffeine punch will dehydrate my kidneys and bring out some mellow yellow later on. |
