I consider it neither. Milestone is an achievement and I have not achieved anything as I did not asked to be born (unless we are talking reincarnation..whole 'nother topic). I certainly do not view living as a burden either.

SO, although it is nice to reflect and think about all we have done or not done in the past year it is not an achievement or burden to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I start trying to calculate how many more years I will likely live before I mercifully am able to die. I'm 25 now so I figure another 50 at least to reach average age. Maybe 60 more if I'm unlucky and make it a bit over average to 85. I get more depressed when I think I might have 60 more to go. Making it through 25 has been almost unbearable.

Just one more year I make it through the fu*&* bs of life. If I make it to 90, it will be a miracle. I am 46 now. I have had a difficult time. I have made it. My life is not for the faint of heart.I should get a medal for my job manuerving that I have been able to do as an adult. Living here in the fu**&&* US is not easy. Most would have caved and committed suicide. But, I am here for the long hall...
