Re: COMEX: 5% of Silver HAS BEEN REMOVED!!Quote

what does that mean... I am not really good with this market stuff. explain please

People buy gold/silver. Rather than physically get it, Comex gives you a piece of paper saying: You own this. You can pick it up anytime.

Folks have been trying to physically get theirs. Comex gives them the run-around because they don't have all the silver they have promised.
They sold more than they have. The lie got one step closer to being uncovered.

Gee, if an individual did that (sold more than they had), it would be called fraud and we would go to jail. One law for us, another for "them"...........

Here is the evidence guys. This was in my "Le Metropole" subscription daily report yesterday. If you are a gold or silver bug it is worth subscribing to.

Richard Guthrie

STOP PRESS. MASSIVE WITHDRAWAL OF SILVER FROM COMEX WAREHOUSES

COMEX Warehouse Stocks November 2, 2009

SILVER

2,584,384 ozs withdrawn from the dealer’s (registered) inventory
1,042,628 ozs withdrawn from the customer (eligible) inventory
Total dealer inventory 52.70 Mozs
Total customer inventory 60.98 Mozs
Combined Total 113.68 Mozs

GOLD

ZERO ozs withdrawn from the dealers (registered) category
64 ozs deposited in the customer (eligible) category
Total dealer inventory 2.32 Mozs
Total customer inventory 7.10 Mozs
Combined Total 9.42 Mozs

Holy smoke! Look at that silver movement. The Brinks trucks must have worn ruts in the pavement hauling that much silver out of the warehouse in a single day. 2.5 million ounces was withdrawn from the dealer inventory and 1 million from the customer inventory. This is very curious, not only because of the size, but because in October there were only delivery notices for 250,000 ozs of silver during the whole month. Some one needs some physical silver in a hurry. Meanwhile the gold movement remains comatose! Can you imagine a day in a bona fide warhouse where 3.5 million ozs of silver are hauled away and 64 ozs of gold is deposited by a customer? Doesn’t that smack of the Marx brothers a “Night at the COMEX”!

Explian dealer and cutomer inventory, please. I'm not familiar with this stuff. I did buy a 1000 oz of (physical) silver a couple of months ago, though, and I'm up about 3K.

Personally, I think the cornering of the silver market part II has begun. You have to take delivery of all the physical silver that you can, then force the naked shorts to cover. This will shoot the price up to $50 in a freakin' heartbeat as the shorts are forced to buy silver at any price.

The crooks running the Comex won't let that happen.

They'll just change the rules, like they did back in the day to stitch up the Hunt brothers.

They'll refuse to deliver physical, and make the contract holders take cash, or ETF shares.

damned

Can you tell me about that? Did the Hunts buy gobs of silver and them dump it, crashing the price? What year was it?

Here's a conversion calculator:

In a somewhat related topic, I was told all of my pre-1965 coins are worth more now than their face value because of the silver content. Any truth to that?

Are you serious AC? :)

Dimes, Quarters, Halfs and Dollars before 1965 are approx 90% silver. If I was you I'd get someone you trust (who is a collector) to check out your dates and mint marks (and grade each coin) because the Numismatic value of the coin could be well over the price of the Silver in the coin (even at the current high $/oz).

I'd also find out how much silver (ounces) is in a pre-1965 dime, quarter, half and dollar (info is available if you research or get your collector friend to search it) to get a feel for how much the bullion value is for each based on current market value.

What you'll end up finding is that a lot of the pre-1965 90% silver coins have a numismatic value below current bullion value of the coin. Those coins are are commonly refered to as junk silver and are mostly sold in large quantities by dealers, etc just for their bullion value alone (all of the rare coins have already been cherry picked out of the junk silver before they are sold in bulk.)

Here's a good link I use to find bullion values of coins (silver and copper /nickel)
