the thing I'm having trouble with is, Clif has been telling us it's all going to turn to shit over the next year or so.
So, why does the rest really matter if we're already going to be screwed anyway?
He talks about "emotional release language" and stuff like that a lot. That is what he specializes in -- linguistics. If he is a master of anything, it's TALK. His function is to create fear. He is a top-level fear-mongerer.
Why?

Seems funny to me that he knows so much about so many things. Think about it. I think it's a put-on. Somebody is helping him. He is spinning tales... And his predictions aren't happening. He got practically hysterical before his October financial doom date warning people -- now it's passed, and he is saying "soon, soon". What does that remind you of, people? GLP effect??? It's just more of the same stuff, to get us to buy gold and distract us.

With Cliff, he's actually a pretty smart guy.
