Have any of you noticed that -since 1948- the exact SAME mantra has been bleated forth from the streets of Tel-Aviv?
It's always: "poor little Israel defending her insignificant little self against the rest of the world!"
Now, let's analyse this for just moment. Exactly what does pathetic little Israel have that the rest of the Middle East apparently craves? A miserable strip of desert [where nothing but resentment flourishes]? Slum-ridden poverty on the outskirts of affluent conclaves [SEE: above-mentioned Tel-Aviv]? Technology [NOPE - they buy/extort theirs from other nations]? A noble heritage [WHAT? Of constantly bickering with neighboring countries]? HMMMM??
About that "noble" heritage. The Jews themselves insist they have been downtrodden for well over 2,000 years and this is true. But, WHY? Why is it in all that time only the JEWS have been victimised? In the distant past it was merely a matter of slavery -conquerors own the conquered. And the more the conquered resist subjugation the harder they are pummelled into submission. This is true of any wartime situation and has been the case of the Hebrew Nation, time after time.
Israel is a shining example of how a small nation of extremely stubborn, barbarous, warlike people can still create conflicts spanning two millennia. They CANNOT ever achieve "peace" [per their own definition] because it is an anachronism and repellent to their historical, cultural and sacred heritage. The Israeli mindset is very similar to the nasty little Bully that lived down the block when you were a kid. He struts, he swaggers, he swears he'll slaughter you if you cross his path on a bad day. And then: periodically, he'll take a swing at someone just to prove his point. No matter that the person on the receiving end of that clenched fist is usually smaller and less-equipped to do battle with such an agressor. Only the outcome matters as the bully strolls arrogantly down the block searching for another victim to further his empty reputation.
But: remember how that bully ended-up? Face-down on the pavement, knocked off his feet when he finally challenged someone resolute-enough [or packing sufficent whallop] to stand up and finally scream: "ENOUGH!!"
I submit that Israel is about to hear that cry.
And loudly. |

Israel do what they see as defending themselves. A lot of the time everyone else sees it as disproportionate. That's the problem.

Let's look at this from a different angle:
Cargo ship carrying all those illegal nuke materials that Israel doesn't have....marked US with destination to Israel.
Syria commandeers the ship 100 nautical miles off her coast.
"We THINK she's headed for Israel! With weapons to kill us!!"
OK for Syria to pirate the ship? Or not?
Honestly, though, given the history, I'm not believing much of this situation is factual. So, there. I said it.
