We have already been invaded by aliens 12-40 Million, illegal aliens from south of the border yet our Government feeds them and takes from working Americans to feed,clothe illegals.
Now why has not the USA gone to war over this as our country has been invaded by a large force? Because the liberals feel sorry for them. |

Before your compassion outweighs your good sense, ask yourself a couple of questions:
1. What was life like for them in a country filled with them?
2. What will life be like for us (and them) in a country filled with them?

You know, my mobile home park is becoming a "little Mexico", but these folks are family oriented and really nice and take care of others. Two who don't know me from Adam, saw to it my driveway was cleared during the big snow storm. They are always kind, always chat (as best as some can with limited English) when I am out walking. They have done me many favors during garage sales and other things in here, and are much nicer and caring than the "white" folks who live in here.
So, if someone breaks into your home, as long as they wash the dishes, and dust off the furniture, your ok with it?
I guess I see what you mean because the white trash would piss on your sofa if he broke in?
btw, did you say you were renting to illegals, or it's not your park?
It is the "white trash" in my neighborhood that has broken into my home, and the person that did this recently has enough money. And this white person, while not pissing on my sofa, did piss in another way. Broke in with my key and stole a new color cartridge and deliberately left behind the old one where I would find it, to make the point and I have helped this person a lot. So now she is white trash to me. It's not the first time she has done this, but I thought she had grown up until she recently stole my mail key off my key chain too. I should have hid the house key better then, or changed my locks actually then.
I am sure there are Mexican thugs. "trash" is in every race. But the problems of this world are not to be solved by what some have posted in this thread. In fact, I believe were are beyond solving them, as long as people continue to treat other people in very negative ways.
Consumerism in America and the use of products produced since free trade by Americans is causing much of the grief in this world. Do any of you here who use Pop and bottled waters, have any idea of this effect on the poor countries where these are produced in this world? Ditto you who use drugs? Ditto you who eat meat and cheap eggs and dairy? Ponder these things, because you are making the world worse with these habits and yet you bitch about the Mexicans? That is just it,,,,no one knows how many there are and no real way to find out.
This goes along with my argument that there is no way in hell they can make the H1n1 vaccine mandatory because they dont even know who the hell is here to give it to and no way to track it.
They came here illegally, then send them back legally.
All the fuckers who say let them stay would go ape shit crazy if they paid $100 for a concert ticket to find that they were letting people in for free.

I think the best answer is to just make Mexico the 51st state, tax everyone and watch the builders head to south to begin building condos and housing by the millions.
It would be a massive boost to both economies and a major BOOM for Mexico.
All the illegals would become instant citizens and on the IRS books along with everyone in Mexico.
We could take over the cartels and keep all the loot.
We could open up the Colorado river and let it flow again to create a massive farming valley out of the desert south of the border.

Well, your country has been broken into, and jobs, services, and tax dollars stolen. So, as long as they keep your driveway clean,and not steal your mailbox key, real americans and the legals that come here are "just as bad" because we eat egg, and drink pop???
I guess you could have called the cops about the theft of the key, but I'm sure they were too busy taping off a crime scene where the mex gang just chopped the head off a rival gang members head. Just sayin'

For whom should we have more compassion; our families and our neighbors, or foreigners who have no interest what-so-ever in abiding by our laws and customs let alone becoming American citizens?
There is a means by which people from other countries can enter our country legally. There is a way that hundreds of thousands of foreigners can become American citizens every year. It isn't easy and it isn't unlimited. The process takes time and effort and that is a good thing for several important reasons. Lives are at stake here. We want people who are willing to put in the effort to learn and respect our customs and laws. We want people who at the very least do not have a major criminal history in their own countries. Is that too much to ask? Is that uncompassionate? NO. That is compassion and proper concern for the safety and integrity of our own citizens.
Too many Americans already have their hand out depending on the government and the kindness of strangers to provide for their lazy irresponsible lives. Too many people who already live here expect others to fix what they screwed up. Too many already here are unwilling to accept responsibly for their own lives. Why would we want hoards more people who have no respect for our laws and were unwilling to stand up and fix the problems in their own countries to come bring that criminal mindset and lack of spine here? No thanks.
Do you live outside the United States and want to become an American? Start by realizing that our country was founded on independence and law. Our freedoms and riches were not granted us by others. We fought for them every step of the way. You should to. Want to become an American? Act like one. Put in the time and effort to learn our customs and laws and show us that you actually want to be one of us. There will be plenty of time for compassion when we have determined that you are a friend and not a mortal threat.

I'm afraid this issue is way too hard for me
to figure out.
so many illegals here.
they are killing our health system.
killing our hospitals.
exhausting the drinking water.
taking what's left of the job market.
and they broke the law to get here.
but,
i feel for them.

let them earn their citizenship through tours of duty in afgahnistan and iraq and iran (opps - not quite yet).

Use the stimulus money to give them a year's worth of their wages and 7 days to go back with all their children. They can have as much family unity as they want in their own country and will have enough money to start over again there.
For those currently in prison for anything other than murder, send them back immediately and quickly. Put them under a death penalty if they return. As we know, Mexico fights to get them back if the death penalty is involved in criminal cases.
Change the immigration laws to be more in keeping with Mexico's and most other countries. That is define citizenship by birth as having at least one parent that is a citizen. No more citizenship by birth anchor baby incentives.
Also adopt the clause in their constitution that makes being in Mexico illegal a felony.
Most of all, e-verify all employment and pass the English as the official language law nationally. No more bi-lingual anything except for emergency services in hospitals, fire and police departments.
Require doggie chips for anyone entering this country on a visa so they can be tracked when the visa expires to make sure they actually leave.
They can then apply for legal immigration status but they have to wait their turn even if that takes years. |
