I see C-17s, F-18s, 737s, Cessnas, and basically everything else on a fairly regular basis. Nothing unusual, just ordinary aircraft making ordinary contrails... |

I doubt you'd be able to identify exactly what kind of aircraft is chemtrailing, as they are flying at fairly high altitudes.
There is an enormous difference between contrails and chemtrails.
For one, contrails disappear eventually. Chemtrails flatten out into cloud formations and hang in the sky for hours. "My Country is the World and My Religion is to do Good" - Thomas Paine |

Some of them I can see when they're flying in to land or are doing some kinds of maneuvers (I'm near the AF Academy and am familiar with these aircraft). Some of them at higher altitudes are clearly identifiable with binoculars. None of them are producing anything "unusual". Some contrails are know to exhibit a cirrus-like appearance if there's enough moisture in the air. |

Look, I very familiar with typical air traffic. I live in Seattle, right next to boeing field and SEA-TAC international airport. However, there are very clearly other jets in the sky that are spraying some kind of aersol. You cannot tell me that contrails can turn into cirrus-like clouds that cover 60% of the sky and DO NOT DISSIPATE. That is not scientifically possible unless there is another agent within the contrail. "My Country is the World and My Religion is to do Good" - Thomas Paine |

I used to live in Bellevue, so I'm somewhat familiar with the area...
Seattle gets quite a bit of fog. Fog forms when there's a lot of moisture in the air. As a result, you get a "cloud" that hangs around the surface and doesn't dissipate.
In the higher levels of the atmosphere, relative humidities tend to be higher than at the surface (that's why there are clouds). When jets burn fuel, they are primarily doing combustion of hydrocarbons that combine oxygen with hydrogen (and other compounds) to create H2O, or water vapor. In addition, the particulate matter released as a result of the combustion can create nuclei around which water vapor can condense. Ergo, contrails can live a while.
Long story short, jet aircraft produce a crapload of exhaust just as a result of burning the fuel necessary to stay aloft. It's like watching a Shuttle launch- the Space Shuttle puts out huge amounts of exhaust in order to get to space, not because it's "spraying chemicals to make people sick", but because that's what's necessary to achieve sufficient thrust. Aircraft at high altitudes aren't much different, and are spewing out water vapor and other byproducts of combustion. |

Contrails have always done this. I rememeber watching them do it as a kid in the 70's. And there are lots and lots of photo's from "way back" showing them doing it.
