Well Katy, bar the door! That's almost as bad as the dozens of planes I see around here on any given day going in and out of our airports!
These aren't passenger jets, boss.
I see C-17s, F-18s, 737s, Cessnas, and basically everything else on a fairly regular basis. Nothing unusual, just ordinary aircraft making ordinary contrails... |

It's like watching a Shuttle launch- the Space Shuttle puts out huge amounts of exhaust in order to get to space, not because it's "spraying chemicals to make people sick", but because that's what's necessary to achieve sufficient thrust. Aircraft at high altitudes aren't much different, and are spewing out water vapor and other byproducts of combustion. |
