taking sex lightly in a friendly manner without excessive judgementalism is actually the sign of a mature soul though, where as righteous condemnation is the sign of a young soul.
In my experience, casual sex is never a sign of maturity, but then again I don't believe in new age stuff to begin with so I doubt we'd agree on anything. Quoting: Astronut
Oh I don't know about that. I don't have much in the way of casual sex myself, and actually think of people who fool around as immature, but you know, I don't like to judge people either... my whole spiritual belief system is evolved around complete innocence in everyone.
It can be hard to put to practice, but dammit, I'm going to do the best I can at it! |

In your opinion, as one climbs up in vibrational frequency, what effect does this have on the sex drive? I've heard variations from it completely dies to it goes through the roof. What in your experiences, has been the more accurate one?
Just curious..
The flesh lusts agains tthe Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh.
the flesh (big sex drive) is an enemy of the spiritual life.
they are enemies, not frineds....read it in galatians chapter 5
you want to make your own definitions to all this, then you will perish! God determines these things....

Not all spritualists have new age beliefs. I for one don't believe that these Ashtar Command guys, or whoever they are, have our best interests at heart. Don't believe that they'll be coming to 'beam us up' into safety, but that's just me. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 722642

Spiritualists who pander too much on the physical plane relying on alien beings, stones, and other stuff, rather then the mind, as the most powerful tool, are leading one in the wrong direction anyways.

Sometimes when the kundalini is activated your sex drive or even ability to get excited in that way shuts down for awhile, sometimes not. Everyone's different. Listen to your body and spirit and don't worry you'll be having this great tantric sex someday in the future when all the spiritual and karmic crud is out and purification has run its course.

I think that theory is bogus.. because I'm not spiritual and my sex drive is waaaay out there man.

We are still together and have two children and I became pregnant both times through spiritual level. I couldn't become pregnant any other way and I haven't achieved that level again so far. |

Ive noticed, that it improves, Sex or masterbation can be a form of release, for excess amounts of energy. Ive found withholding or controling the amount of release, can also help in building energy. Have also found when holding or building up the energy, if one isnt going to realease it sexualy, that it can be used to highlight other sences, arts, music, sport, ect.
Takes alot of mental willpower thou, but you can have great sex when one has an hight amount of energy, that energy can charge up your partner pretty fast lol.
Sexuality/lust is one of my weakpoints, and I waste alot of energy in mental abuse (porn), I need to focus more, the main thing thou, is im glad im aware of it, because now I can study it, and try different technique in influanceing the result or pattern, watching cause and effect ect, while doing this I found triggers, once aware of triggers, I can choose not to trigger them, I get given a choice. Somtimes im strong sometimes im not, the battle continues.
Biblical wize. me thinks, Lust is one of the heads of the 7 headed beast, control lust and that beast head becomes tame, and can be used to direct man to spiritual heights, control all 7 heads, then you actavate solomons seal?
Every thought leaves an impress upon the Spirit of the Shadowself for good or evil. With every impress of evil there is futher corruption and distortion of the spirit Form. With every impress of good there is a strengthening force which beautifies the Spirit form, and so it resides within in joy and content.
There are seven Spirit cankerers, which are meanness,theft, hypocrisy, fornication, cowardice, lust and envy. Earth, enveloped in ocean and mantled in air, is the school wherein man, conceived in the likeness of The Divine, plays his part as a pupil.

It's hard to overcome lust, until we reach a certain level of spiritual growth. We all have addictions.(Some wil deny this)
When you find the right person or reach a certain level, you'll know it.
I think the majority are compulsive thinkers. It's hard to be still and quiet the thoughts. Have compassion for yourself and everything you've been through. |

The level of you sex drive is less determined by physical factors, and more determined by your spiritual connection to potential or actual romantic partners. if you are attracted to someone and it is mutual, you will experience a fire burning inside. |
