Ok fellow GLPers, what kind of coffee do u guys drink in the morning. Name it brand,strength, how it rates for ya. etc... ready, go!
Me, right now I'm drinking this French roast, it's either Maxwell house,which is a very smooth good kind or I've tried the Starbucks French Roast, which I just learned is one of their strongest roasts that they make! Now I'm gonna tryout their Italian roast,which Starbucks says is milder than their French roast.
What are you guys drinkin' this morning and/or every morning?

Cafe Bustelo,(espresso) bout 5 scoops make 1 cup, mixed half and half w/ milk(hot) Strong, very strong.
Wake me up if I go off the road!!! |

This Starbucks Italian is pretty good,and I tried their French roast last week, my god, it was stronger than this. I like this actually. But damn it's expensive,lmao! $7.50 for 12 oz. Shit.

Maxwell House South Pacific Blend. Got it because it was on sale a week or so back. It's OK, but not great. I'm glad the can is almost empty so I can go get something I like better.
I snatch that first cup the brewer makes. It's so strong and flavorful. It's heaven. That makes the rest of the pot weaker, but no one else in the house notices. |

A quart of carrot, apple, and celery juice. It's not coffee but that's what I drink every morning. Apple juice wakes you up as good or better then caffeine.

I used to drink about 2 pots a day, by myself. Usually Folger's.
But I moved, left the coffee maker and now I use Folger's Instant. Yes, instant - it's not very good but now I'm down to less than 3 cups of coffee a day...because that's about the max I can gag down.
Also quit drinking Pepsi, no sodas at all now.
My hands don't shake as much, my skin looks better and I've lost 10 pounds.
Sometimes I miss real coffee though. |

totally best coffee I've ever tasted was
genuine no brand fresh roasted turkish coffee
very very strong taste..
just had a small cup of the stuff

One bad thing about instant coffee.. I boil the water in a tea pot, so it's hotter than brewed coffee.
The other morning it was cold in here, I boiled the water and poured it into my coffee cup.
I heard this "tink!" sound - the coffee cup split right down the seam and the water poured out all over the countertop and down the inside of the cabinets.
Then the cup just fell apart, like it was cut perfectly at the seam, 2 halves just laying there in a puddle of steaming water.
Now I run hot water in the cup before pouring in the boiling water.
I bought those cups 10 years ago at the Dollar Store! |

I drink an act energy drink mostly, its makes you feel a lot better than coffee with no jitters and its healthier than coffee. When I do drink coffee, I drink the best which is Boyds gormet maddalion breakfast blend. |

Smith Farms' Kona or Jablum Jamaican Blue Mtn; the two best coffees in the world. Nothing else even comes close....... |

Some commercial stuff called White Cloud~~~~the local Amish store had it on sale~~~5 pounds of beans for $7
Not the worst I have ever had, bought it for the survival cache. Muddy tasteing, far east beans I suspect |

Also, try "city roast" (med.) instead of "dark roast". The dark often covers the true bean flavor. |

folgers black silk, 1/2 cup of grounds per pot as they say if the horseshoe sinks its not coffee.
the coffee maker you use makes adifference in the taste of the coffee.
I use a bunn coffee maker, takes 3 minutes to make a pot of coffee.

My personal fave comes from Aldi's. It's called "Donut Store" blend, and it's great. Very reasonable price too. |

If buying on E-bay, avoid Calyptic and other inferior brands. Gold Star has a 100% rating and is very good there. Roasted beans peak at 3 weeks, so don't buy too much! |
