IMO only the Yanks, Russians, Chinese, Japanese, British, Israelis and possibly N-Korea and a few middle eastern nations would have the resources to produce an antibiotic resistant strain of pnuemonic plague.

Its deadly, talking 90% + fatality.

Could be the swine flu was engineered to mask the symptoms of the actual real killer which would be the pnuemonic plague, or at least long enough to spread it around, or somebody has waited on an overdue natural outbreak of flu like this to release something they have been waiting decades on.

However i am just speculating.

In reality i think the UKRAINE is just a shithole of a country with a third world medical care system and its probably just struggling with H1N1.

I dont think anything out of the ordinary is happening, however we will tell in time, give it a couple of weeks.

I haven't seen Avatar, but Titanic had blue people too.

I dont know how good you think scientists are at producing bioweapons but aside from chemical weapons and radioisotopes im not aware of even sporal bacteria being spread 100s of miles in the wind.

The UV light from the sun would probably destory any spores.

i thought of this too... a good way to knock out a substantial portion of russias food growing capability... keeps russia busy... then we or israel hit iran?... then them after we've let the virus work on russia and china for a while?

Bacteria are pretty damn fragile, viruses differ, they can hardly be called living and can survive out of a host for a long time, and they are not destoryed by antibiotics either. Maybe, i wouldnt discount the UKRAINE itself having old stocks of russian bioweapons and releasing them itself in order to control the goverment and change laws.

Nothing stops democracy in its tracks like a major disease.
