God punishes satan for eternity, and satan's extremely furious, and seeks out to destroy God's creation; to destroy his creation in the flesh is simply that, the flesh, but the soul lives on. So he seeks to destroy/conquer the souls of God's creation through deceit, I mean some might point to Sumerian tablets and such, but who can be sure of the authenticity, and validity based only on people who claim to know the language, and dating of aforementioned tablets.

It has been presented that satan uses many tricks to deceive humans, he's been roaming the universe since the beginning(plenty of time to "observe/study" humans, and their behaviors. Presenting themselves as "gods", yet the "New age" religions of today, along with some other teachings defile that of Jesus.

Now onto the "Nephilims" see the angels who rebelled, held the secrets of heaven (charms, magic, etc) and the "fallen" mated with the women of man, thus creating a corruption since angels have a celestial body that is eternal, and man, made of flesh, can die. The problem is mixing a spirit that cannot die, with a body that can. Thus resulting in the mighty nephilim, the giants, who were half angel, half man, most were wiped out by "the deluge" but some survived. What happens to the eternal spirit of the dead flesh of the nephilim? They are what roam the earth today, looking for who to posses, and cause great evil for they have been cursed by god. The dis-embodied spirits, better said.

Here is an example of how beings that posses greater knowledge of how technology,matter, and energy function that contribute to phenomena such as "star gates", time-travel, and such technologies mentioned as "Anti-gravity", can easily deceive a less advanced being, known as humans.

The reasons for which the death of many where caused:

A) Killed as a result of their aggression against the nation of Israel.

B) Killed as a result of enmity between them and Israel, but not specifically the violent aggression of the victim in particular.

C) Killed as a result of their sin that made God angry.

D) Killed as a result of somebody else's sin.

See if he's the father, and you disobey his commandments consequences will follow.

For example the most important factor of a parental relationship with their children is that of obedience.

If your father is your authority, your guardian, he has set some rules for you to follow (do your bed,homework,chores,etc.) if you disobey your father, he might strip you of your allowance (finances), or put you in time out (temporary-hell :P), usually you say your sorry, and say you won't do it again (repent) of course repetition of the same misdeed (sin) is not true repentance.

So now you have the perspective of your father.

So god is not "threatening people to an eternity to hell", he's WARNING them of such outcome if they fall into sin!
