I can't believe the Catholic Church hasn't excommunicated her. The Catholic Bishops have all rejected the health care bill because it includes abortion, and Pelosi is the one who absolutely insists on abortion being included. She is doing the opposite of what the Catholic Church demands yet she is still not excommunicated. Her money and power may have something to do with it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 811789

But if that's your agenda, you can work it into any subject I guess.
The LameStreamMedia and the Republicans/Independents in congress should ALL be holding her feet to the fire on this promise she made and then so lightly broke.

If Pelosi doesn't care about excommunication that wouldn't surprise me, but the Church SHOULD care. The Church should care enough to rid itself of evil people such as Pelosi and Biden who make a public display of their hypocrisy. They mock the Church by calling themselves Catholic, then in front of the whole world they do the opposite of what the Catholic Church teaches. I have a feeling that they make substantial donations to the Church, and their monetary generosity is buying them a lot of leniency. |

Her version of this bill called for jail for those who did not have health insurance coverage at all times. That's what she thinks of us. And it cost $15,000 for a family of four per year.
Who knows what is in this bill that they are likely to pass tomorrow because they won't allow us or even the rest of congress to read it before voting. That should be a crime in and of itself.
But they keep shuffling the bills around so no one will We can refuse to participate but they are likely to just put us in jail or seize all our assets. |

The healthcare bill doesn't provide funding for abortion or for anything else for that matter. It just forces people to buy insurance and then deal with horrible insurance companies who spend most of their money trying to avoid paying claims. The subsidies that less affluent people will get to help them buy this insurance are a joke and will simply put most uninsured in an untenable position. As for the public option, the insurance lobby made sure that even if it gets into the final bill, it will cost even more than private insurance.
Bottom line: The whole thing sucks!!!! |
