If they hate us, and love their religion so much, just what the hell are they doing here? Europe has been overrun by them, they have also come to the U.S.
As soon as they arrive in western society, they become vocally unhappy and start lawsuits. I remember the lawsuit started by a muslim woman, wearing a burqua, who sued because she was denied a driver's license. She couldn't fucking SEE! Not to mention she probably would be denied the license in her own country. Then there's the honor killings where a muslim man can kill his wife and/or children if he feels they have somehow insulted his 'honor'. When they come here, they bring their culture bullshit with them, rather than assimilate into our culture.
My point being...and this even pertains to someone who is born here as a muslim or converts to Islam: if you are so unhappy where you are living and the culture you are living in, then FUCKING MOVE.

Re: Should Devout Muslims Be Allowed In The United States Military?
CNN just said this guy that took out the base was complaining to a store clerk about having to go overseas and kill other human beings...
So one must ask themselves...
WHAT IN THE FUCK WAS THIS GUY DOING IN THE UNITED STATES MILITARY?
Fixed for you. The real question should be why the fuck do we need to kill each other.

Lotus, we don't even have a lockdown like that in the U.K.; how realistic is it to ask for one in the U.S, I wonder. "Cherishing and caring for others is the source of all happiness. Cherishing ourselves over others, is the source of all suffering and negative conditions."

Re: Should Devout Muslims Be Allowed In The United States Military?
I used to be on this site quite frequently. I can't believe what it has become... Actually, I can and I should see how racist ideologies work nowadays...
Stop living in fear... come on people!! Most of you who agree with this thread are the ones posting about how we should stop living in fear, remember?
Muslims are not that different than you. Americans have committed numerous atrocities in the name of liberty and freedom, capitalism and liberal politics. What is the difference of muslims commiting atrocities in the name of religion or whatever?
Violence against the Human race is still Violence period. No matter how you justify it. In fact justifying it makes it worse.
Wake the fuck up americans, your govt. kills millions directly and mostly indirectly (which is even more cruel) by exploting 3rd world countries and starting wars we don't need.
I'm not coming back to read this site for a while... every time I do there's lots of pinned threads like these. It just makes me sick to my stomach.
hey trinity, why dont you fucking run for a political position if you think you know what is best for our country. go be Obama's religious czar. i'm SURE you know what is best for our country. ... plus half you other bozos ..
you can always remember, go back and remember, this is just a ride

Re: Should Devout Muslims Be Allowed In The United States Military?
Islam is an all encompassing way of life which has religious, political, economical and military implications. Dear sir, poor sir, brave sir: You are an experiment by the Creator of the Universe. You are the only creature in the entire Universe who has free will. You are the only one who has to figure out what to do next--and why. Everybody else is a robot, a machine.

That's like saying anyone with Germanic blood could not fight in world war 2. Some people just take things a little too far. Also, shouldn't you also ban woman and gay's. I think that may be a conflict of interest. Why would you ban any one from you military. Nations are made on the backs and blood of poorer nationalities. How many blacks were drafted in Vietnam. That's just how things are. Muslims are not going anywhere. Although I still don't trust em'.

If we are going to change the Constitution at all to fit the world today, it should be to keep the islamic faith out of this nation completely!
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 750924
We don't need to change the Constitution, only to obey it. The Constitution already forbids the President from sending our troops out on "foreign adventures" to invade other countries without an official declaration of war from Congress.
Congress has not declared war since 1941. Problem solved!

Re: Should Devout Muslims Be Allowed In The United States Military?
There shouldn't be a religious test for being in the military.
Quoting: Jeremiah175
I didn't say a test. What I said was there needs to be a review of ALL personnel every two years and factors such as religion, finances and other issues that may be targeted as a problem need to be identified. If you can not or will not fulfill your obligation due to personal beliefs then, you are in breach of contract to put it nicely.
Same reason you can not work as an Airport scanner if you have bad credit..you are a risk..plain and simple. Search For ANYONE In America..Its Free!

"Military records indicated that Major Hasan was single, had been born in Virginia, had never served abroad and listed “no religious preference” on his personnel records. Three other soldiers, their roles unclear, were taken into custody in connection with the rampage. The office of Representative John Carter, Republican of Texas, said they were later released, but a Fort Hood spokesman could not confirm that. General Cone said that more than 100 people had been questioned during the day."
I voted no.
If we never let them in to the country,we would not have to worry about getting them out.
Now,with the latino language schools set up in terrorist camps, the mexican border is wide open for the muslim hoard.
