All right. I stand corrected. It is a religion. The point I am trying to make is that this rhetoric of stereotyping all people of one religion doesn't make sense. There are rogue elements in ALL RELIGIONS. With that, are you going to label all of those people too? 
Any group of people has its bad elements, but no other religion is actively engaged in waging war against others.
Why the fuck is it okay for muslim (extremists) to label ALL Americans as infidels and kill us at will, but it's not okay for us to label all muslims potentially dangerous?

If I did miss the point, can you blame me? Your elucidation is baffling.

What does that mean?
Again, simple equation for you:
1. Mass murderer is taken down by sheriff and deputies.
2. Liberals accuse sheriff and deputies of being a murderers.
Ergo, liberals (and idiots) prefer mass murder.
Hussein was awful. Would you, if you had a time machine and all the power in the world, put the Iraqi people back in time under the murderous rule of Hussein?
If you say it's not our business to give people freedom, I'll agree with you. It's possible they didn't want it and can't handle it.
I also think it would have been more effective to merely bomb Hussein's palace and be done with it. And when the next dictator pops up and does the same shit, it only takes a single bullet to get rid of him too. And so on, until you reach a point where the would-be dictators aren't so keen on having the throne anymore.
What we should have done was assassinated Hussein, then issued weapons to anyone willing to fight for their freedom. If they achieved it (like we did) then they would cherish it and would have earned it.
But forcing it on them, and then trying to maintain it for them, it's about as valuable to them as free housing is to the inner city poor.

In a strategy to stop the spread of communism, america provided supplies to afghanies during the 80's to hold their own against russia. as for the gulf war, saudi arabia was americas biggest ally in that war, not to mention that the entire world was pissed at saddam for invading kuwait and declaring it part of iraq. The rest of the middle east probably saw that as a dictator trying to expand his territory (hitler anyone?) and decided that a message was to be sent to saddam. I cannot see when america has killed muslims besides these valid reasons and the post 9/11 wars in afghanistan and iraq, where still to this day the islamists are livid of the idea of an iraq democracy.
