The Stock Market should crash this time

All the so called Green Shoots were an illusion.

Nothing but fluctuations (like a fish flopping out of water) on the bottom of an economic crash.

To the novices like most on this board, any movement looks like a tremendous improvement. The reality is that we have well over 22 percent unemployment (perhaps as high as 23 percent). And people want to believe that everything is improving. Revenue across the board for ninety percent of the companies out there is decreasing. Earnings have been gained by tremendous cost cuts. The companies are running out of places to cut costs and NOW the collapse will hit in full fury.

As I have pointed out, OLDER home sales are just flopping around on the bottom. EXISTING HOMES SALES SEP 09 5.57M AUG 09 5.10M JUL 09 5.24 M SEP 08 5.14 M AUG 08 4.91 M JUL 08 5.02 M [link to biz.yahoo.com] New house sales are collapsing. Existing house sales have already collapsed and are just flopping all over the place.

I think it'll play flat for some time like japan, but your buying power drops.

Thats not to say some stocks are bad bets, i'd imagine metals and mining are good bets, and i think people will still gamble, drink and smoke, people (stupidly) put smoke, drink and bets before food and paying bills.

Bubble will burst when dollar carry trade unwinds. U.S. will crash at that time, unless we can absorbed back a lot of the debt we've issued, first.
