Sorry folks but we can't escape the stock market carnage that is about to happen. The unemployment numbers were horrific. This will effect the stock markets during the last 2 hours of trading today. Dude, no one cares. If there was going to be a crash, it would have been a year ago. There is little statistical difference between 9.5 and 10.2 and the stocks have been going up regardles.. Stocks are NOT dependent upon employment, but profit. Cut employess = Greater profit. One of the many ways the poor get screwed.

You guys are right. The markets will continue to climb and climb. Interest rates are basically zero, so really it's just free money. Who cares about unemployment numbers when the money is free, right?

I guess the big stock market crash will come when the FED increases interest rates. However, they most likely won't increase rates because it will kill the stock markets. Looks like we are headed into some major inflation down the road. Gold and silver will do well.

Real rates are nowhere near zero. Let's not kid ourselves here. And yes, the market could easily tank somewhere near here, anybody's guess where and when. Doubt we see a major collapse today, but who knows? Could be fun to watch.
