Lets get it straight. The Koran teaches Muslims to slay the infidels. These so called "Moderate Muslims" are not really Muslims because they do not obey the teachings of Muhammed. This Muslim guy in Texas was only doing what his holy book teaches him to do. It's time Americans understood this fact. Any Christian who kills someone in the name of God is going against the teachings of Jesus. A Muslim who kills someone in the name of God is doing just as Muhammed instructed them to do. |

Muslim's practice a completely different legal system and their culture is incompatible with non-Muslims. You can't just ignore them if they come into your democratic society. Eventually they will increase enough in numbers to take your society over.

Did you read the extensive research information in "JADR"'s Jihad and Koran thread in this same forum? You might learn something there.
I've just emailed an internet acquaintance whom I communicate with on a weekly basis, a devout but moderate Muslim female university student, asking her some of the questions that have been raised at GLP. I'll post her answers when I receive them.

Moderate Christians also do not obey the more extreme teachings of their Bible. When they do they are often judged insane, such as when they kill their children thinking they are evil and that evil children should be killed, according to some teachings in the Old Testament. There are many other examples of teachings in the Bible that moderate Christians rightfully ignore. |

Except for things like THIS...Let's face it, in recent history Islam, around the WORLD, has become much more fundamentalist and extremist. You only need to look into what is happening in Indonesia, which used to be a very very mild form of Islam, Malaysia, Africa etc... Islamists in southern Somalia have stoned a man to death for adultery but spared his pregnant girlfriend until she gives birth.
Abas Hussein Abdirahman, 33, was killed in front of a crowd of some 300 people in the port town of Merka.
An official from the al-Shabab group said the woman would be killed after she has had her baby.
Islamist groups run much of southern Somalia, while the UN-backed government only control parts of the capital.
This is the third time Islamists have stoned a person to death for adultery in the past year.
Al-Shabab official Sheikh Suldan Aala Mohamed said Mr Abdirahman had confessed to adultery before an Islamic court.
“ They [al-Shabab] are forcing women to wear very heavy clothes, saying they want them to properly cover their bodies but we know they have economic interests behind - they sell these kinds of clothes and want to force people to buy them ”

Although he says he also wants to implement Sharia, al-Shabab says his version of Islamic law would be too lenient.
The country has not had a functioning national government for 18 years.

Anyone remember that youtube vid that showed the Islamification of Europe by the numbers of births, immigration etc...with maps, graphs etc...Look. Bottom line is this: In this country our constitution kinda goes along with our "christian" values, just as in other countries their laws are founded upon their spiritual beliefs (fortunately and unfortunately.) Already we have seen Islam in England get their own court system, community pool time, foot washing stalls in public schools (that last one is here in the US) etc. Once they become a majority, I am sorry - you don't think they are going to change the way their community, city, state, gov't does business? Please don't be soo naive. Just as liberals in San Francisco have made SF into a liberal haven, and ORange County calif is a lily white christian republican stronghold -people influence their environment, and to assume that they wouldn't is just naive. Correct. When push comes to shove many are going to have decide where they stand and even Obama said if the political winds turn ugly he will stand with the Muslims.
Many are leaving Islam when they come to reality of the choice that is before them. There is a fork in the road jihad or peace. Violence or enlightenment.
