Er, that was the FIRST time. It has happened again. Thhis is TWICE he has been present when pot was found on the premises.
He said he wouldn't know what pot plant looked like.
Now would that be acceptable for the rest of us to claim? I don't think so. We wouldn't be allowed off based on such a flimsy excuse at all. No one should be above the law.
Last thing I want is a buncha drugged up old farts making bills the rest of us have to live by. |

That's my thing. I like him even more knowing this happened a few years ago but didn't hit the media and since then he's come out even more in support of medical marijuana, legalization etc. Most politicians get busted and then go just say no... |

Not sure it was the second time. The fox story is poorly presented tough to know. But seriously it's not Frank's house and who goes and looks around the house to see? It's reasonable to guess he might not have known. And if he did? Who cares? Would you rat out a friend for that? He's not getting any preferential treatment. He didn't break any law here. |

I don't think politicians should receive preferential treatment like this.
And it is his partner who was one of the main ones who bankrupt the Fannie Mae mortgage organization while Franks was in congress voting them more and more funding.
Total sleaze ball.
Don't get me wrong. . . I think pot should be legalized as well but right now it is NOT and I don't like these old farts in congress getting better treatment than the rest of us. Especially not those who have been primarily responsible for the collapse of the economy like this one. |

That's the strangest reason I have ever heard, lol. There is not enough cotton grown in this country to make any difference in anything. Can't compete with imported, etc.
But yeah, I think it is less dangerous than alcohol, etc. Should be legal. But you do realize that then they would tax it beyond affordability and it would end up costing much more. Farnk's partner needs the money, ya know. |

Whatever. . . .but just maybe if they had to obey the same laws as the rest of us it would be legal. Since they so obviously don't, they have no incentive to legalize anything because the laws don't pertain to them anyway.
