They (the Congress) must read the bill in it's entirely to all members before it can be voted on.
Believe it or not!
One more thing, it must read aloud 3 (three) times before it can be voted on. Only members of Congress that were present during the full audio of the Bill can vote on it.

And I have to say one thing---- ROLL TIDE!!!
There! Just had to get that out of my system since I have been away watching the pummeling of LSU for the last few hours.
I will read back to where I left now. . . .

This bill will be our doom... the government will truly begin to exercise full control over the American people should it pass.
And it won't just be through taxes... no, not this time. Now, they will be able to directly control how it is we live our very lives.
Forget the Patriot Act... forget Cap and Trade. This is the most Orwellian bill brought in front of the Congress yet...

Surely you realize there already IS legislation on abortion. It's legal, yes but I'm sure as HELL NOT GOING TO PAY FOR SOMEONE TO KILL THEIR CHILD.
Again, then Republicans should propose anti abortion legislation ON ITS OWN. What dont you understand?
The issue isn't anti or pro, it's should we ALL be rquired to PAY for it, that's the point here....if a woman chooses to end her childs life, why shouldn't the rest of us have the choice NOT to paticipate!!!!!!

the republicans were attempting to change existing legislation, extraneous to the health care bill. If they want to do that they should propose it separately. But they havent done that even when they had a majority. Why is that? |
