This is a double Hoax.
First, it's not an alien of any kind, it's a freakin' sloth! It's a natural from that exact same place where the found it.
Second, the kids didn't kill a thing. Open your eyes when looking at this images, instead of closing them while waving and yelling "OhMyGodOhMyGodOhMyGod.
It's only furless from the "waist" up, since it was submerged on that part. For the kids to have found it like that, it would be dead for some time. The water level is lower now, uncovering the all animal. So, what that means? Means that the kids didn't kill it neither it's an alien.

If alien beings have conquered Space and Time........and appear to be much more evolved than we mere-mortals are then, we can pretty much assume, they have no need for a tongue. They are most likely, telepathic and most likely, get their energy source from somewhere other than food.
So when we see a creature with a tongue hanging out of their face suffice it to say, it's probably an Earth-bound being.

I am on the same page as you are with this assumption.
I was just saying, if some aliens DO manifest themselves with human-like features (i.e., a body) it's not likely they need tongues. That's all I am saying. This is not dismissing the fact that perhaps Pleiadians don't have tongues because from what I gather, they're very much like us but, creatures (i.e., Greys) probably have no need for a tongue.
