Well, according to the law, this is what is supposed to be done and really, it sound pretty good to me:
-Form a group of people (local officials, law officers, military, and business owners) that feel the same way you do.
-Organize a meeting in order to split the legal fees and get a lawyer to find out which laws have been broken and which charges need to be placed.
-File a multi-person law suit against all the representatives and politicians in favor of this bill.
-If your representative votes in favor of, head to their office and demand their resignation for breaking the law. Give them 30 days to resign. Give them a copy of the law suit, just in case it wound up ‘missing’.
-If they refuse to resign within 30 days, head to your sheriffs office and tell him he needs to place them under arrest for the several constitutional laws that were broken.
-Tell your sheriff if he does not enforce the law, you will go to the media and expose him for doing such. In addition, tell him he too will need to resign.
-Find the deputies and remind them that they swore to uphold the laws of the land.
-Find the local judge and tell him you intend to place the representative under citizens arrest for the said charges. Then, demand that if he sets bail to order the representative temporarily dismissed until further notice. Tell the judge he must set hearing dates for the said charges. Remind the judge how serious of an issue this is and if it is treason, bail should NOT be set.
-Go to the representative’s office and place them under citizen’s arrest. Hand them over to a deputy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 550635

BUT, if you look at Section 9, Clause 6
Clause 6: No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another: nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.
This clause may make this healthcare bill unconstitutional under the regulation of Commerce. Thoughts? |

House Democrats Contemplate Abolishing 401(k) Tax Breaks
Powerful House Democrats are eyeing proposals to overhaul the nation’s $3 trillion 401(k) system, including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.
House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller, D-California, and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, are looking at redirecting those tax breaks to a new system of guaranteed retirement accounts to which all workers would be obliged to contribute.
A plan by Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic-policy analysis at the New School for Social Research in New York, contains elements that are being considered. She testified last week before Miller’s Education and Labor Committee on her proposal.

The govt stance on flu is to do exactly what you are doing. They advise NOT to go to doctor or hospital with flu. See CDC and other instructional places.
If what your husband has is chronic, he won't receive treatment anyway because they do not approve treatment for anything chronic that is not COST EFFECTIVE.
Past a certain age, no joint replacemnts, expensive treatments because of not being cost effective. They only treat what can be cured by the cheapest available methods.
The "panels" have to approve things as cost effective before treatment is given. |

FYI, both my husband and I HAVE 'jobs' ....we are small business owners and HAVE BEEN for over 25 years. We have never used medicaid, food stamps, welfare or any other gov't. handout. We live off the grid, we recycle what trash we generate, we don't smoke or drink. So your 'foolish luxuries' statement does not apply.
It always amazes me that people who are so brainwashed they can't even THINK about others who are not in their same position/lifestyle revert to confusing the issues and downright cruelty, using terms like 'lazy slobs' 'king and queen of america' etc.

I know they do! And they are going to start with State retirement plans first I think.
Yes, must take them for our own good!
And it does make me angrier. I am even thinking of taking the ten percent hit and liquidating all of it. Have been doing so incrementally but from need mostly. Think I will just take it all after first of year for new tax year.
Then declare bankruptcy as I am already losing my home, won't have any assets as will not pay on my car except payments as required. There will be nothing in assets they can take then. |

Why do you call it 'un-american?' Right now I have NO health coverage. I'm treating myself for flu as we speak. My husband has a pre-existing condition and will NEVER get an ins. co. to cover him. My sis in law HAS insurance and she's been screwed around since JULY and is STILL in the hospital...about to be transferred to a nursing home because her doctors can't get her surgery right. Gimme a break...SOME health oversight is better than NONE. Now go tune in fox news and stuff yourself with lies.

Thanks for your condolences, but, have you had to USE your insurance lately? Try going to a hospital and see what happens. How about your co-pay? Has it gone up like EVERYONE ELSE'S has? How about the meds you take? Like those prices? Come on. OF COURSE this bill (or any other bill) is not what we THINK it is...they are all full of PORK, lobbyists' interists, and poli-tics. But right now we have NOTHING but the short end of the stick the insurance companies hand us...they OWN us. They are worse than the wall street thieves, worse than the banksters. I also have meds that I regularly take, and NO my co payments have NOT gone up, and NO my meds are NOT outrageous, I have a decent plan that we PAY for!!! NONE of your business, quite frankly, and I do not sit and piss and moan about my economic or HEALTH care problems and expect the government to fix it!!!! They have wanted to get their hands on everyone's 401k and IRA for a while now. Wanna bet they sneak in a provision that when you turn 65 (or 70) they can grab your retirement "to provide for your old age care".

House Democrats Contemplate Abolishing 401(k) Tax Breaks
Powerful House Democrats are eyeing proposals to overhaul the nation’s $3 trillion 401(k) system, including the elimination of most of the $80 billion in annual tax breaks that 401(k) investors receive.
House Education and Labor Committee Chairman George Miller, D-California, and Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Washington, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee’s Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support, are looking at redirecting those tax breaks to a new system of guaranteed retirement accounts to which all workers would be obliged to contribute.
A plan by Teresa Ghilarducci, professor of economic-policy analysis at the New School for Social Research in New York, contains elements that are being considered. She testified last week before Miller’s Education and Labor Committee on her proposal.
